To our purrfect supporters — donors, HQ volunteers, fosters, fundraisers, admin team, knitters, blanket makers, catnip growers, collection box hosts, everyone at West Vet and our Trade Me & Marketplace wizards — thank you for everything you do.

Every rescue, every foster home, every vet visit, and every full belly is possible because of you. This work truly takes a team of many, and we are so grateful to be surrounded by such a caring community.

As the festive season approaches, we’d like to let our wonderful clients know our holiday hours so you can plan ahead for your pets 🐶🐱

✨ Christmas Hours
• Thu 25 Dec – Closed
• Fri 26 Dec – Closed
• Sat 27 Dec – Open 9am–12pm
• Sun 28 Dec – Closed

✨ New Year Hours
• Thu 1 Jan – Closed
• Fri 2 Jan – Closed
• Sat 3 Jan – Open 9am–12pm
• Sun 4 Jan – Closed

Open as normal from the 5th of Jan 😇

If in doubt keep them out 🐾⛔️

A great reminder from ecan about the dangers of algae this time of year… remember to keep your pets well away from hotspots 🌱

Symptoms to watch out for:
- Lethargy
- Muscle tremors
- Twitching or convulsions

In severe cases toxic algae ingestion can cause death so please be very careful over summer ☀️
