Happy Mantra Monday šŸ™ŒšŸ»

As always this is a one take wonder for me, so I do often get a little tongue tied. šŸ¤ŖšŸ˜†

Essentially, whatever you focus on, you will generate growth.

ā€œEnergy flows where attention goesā€

Use it. Enjoy it.
See you all next time.
Stay warm till then!

View from my mat as I lay in co**se pose.

Students having steamed up the windows, now gone and I’m left to contemplate the evening head.

What a dreary day. Isn’t it lovely to have a little ray of sunshine, even if it is in the form of 🌻

What does health and wellness mean to you?

Some year ago, I made a commitment to myself. It involved being ā€˜consistent’

My health and wellness is my #1 priority.

Which means, I need to get to bed early enough to read, to unwind from the day before I sleep.

I aim to move each and everyday! No matter what!

I have to prepare and be organised with my food otherwise my nutrition can fall off a cliff!

And as best I can, I reduce stress wherever possible.

These are the main pillars for health and wellness for everyone.

This picture here is me being dressed up for Valentines Day Park run. It was my 50th ParkRun! A small achievement but one none the less!

I’m a gym gal, but I’m more of an outdoors gal with my four legged friend.
The amount of steps. A million for sure!!
Maybe I should check how many I did last year!! Hmmm šŸ˜‰

Dog owners, listen up! Did you know that owning a dog can add an extra 1 million steps to your year? That’s an extra million opportunities to stay active and improve your cardiovascular health. Taking your dog for walks doesn’t just give them the exercise they need, it also gives you the chance to boost your own fitness. It’s an easy and enjoyable way to stay active and live a healthier lifestyle.

Walking your dog isn’t just about exercise—it’s also a great way to clear your mind. Whether it’s a short stroll around the block or a long hike in the park, walking with your dog allows you to decompress and get some fresh air. This time outdoors can do wonders for your mental health as well, making it a double win for your mind and body. It’s not just a walk; it’s a moment of self-care.

So, next time you head out with your furry friend, remember: every step counts. Those extra walks add up and contribute to your overall health. Fitness doesn’t always have to be in the gym—it can be as simple as getting outside and moving. Start today and feel the benefits of a more active lifestyle with your dog by your side. šŸ¾šŸ’Æ

How’s your Waitangi Day looking?

So often we don’t take time to pause and reflect, to slowdown and relax, to rest and restore!!

Have you ever contemplated how good you feel after taking time out and acknowledging that it’s OK to be on go-slow?!

Take the time. Be the one who nourishes your own soul.

Too Good not to share!!!

Ed Shearing update.

The little Ginga bastard is bringing his Northern English summer weather with him. They get this kind of BS weather in that part of the world for their summers.

Saturday and Sunday - If you’re in the stands where the wankery corporate lounges are, you’re going to get wet. Up the back in that stand, you should be ok in terms of dryness. Obviously if you’re on the field, there’s no hiding from an absolute cold windy drenching. Saturday will be worse than Sunday.

The wind will be pretty bad so dress like your Ernest Shackleton ready to lead an expedition to the South Pole.

Everyone in the racecourse - coaches box side of the stands should be sweet as. You’ll be an easy 5-10 degrees warmer than everyone else.

Anyway, have fun. No chance im going. Although, if anyone from Ed’s team are a fan, I’ll take a back stage pass. šŸ˜Ž

Enjoy the hypothermia šŸ¤™ 🄶

Edit - upon reviewing the picture I copied from Google, that looks more like a s*x toy than a shearing handpiece. Too late now šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø.

Leadership has changed how I think about goals.

As I’m responsible for teams, clients, and multiple visions, goals aren’t just personal anymore - they’re promises!

While I juggle multiple businesses in health and wellness and the arts, I’ve learnt that progress isn’t about doing everything perfectly, it’s about consistency, clarity, and returning to what matters, daily!

Some weeks are about expansion, others are about refinement. Ever had days when you’ve thought ā€œwhat did I achieve today?ā€ This happens, it’s perfectly normal, it’s ok, it just means that when the pull of distraction or doubt creep in, as they do, the reminder is: don’t abandon the vision, recalibrate and move forward.

Keep your goals front and centre.
Let them evolve.
Let them guide your energy, not drain it.

This will be an important mantra for me in 2026! Here’s to a fulfilling, satisfying, creative and successful year ahead! šŸŽ‰

This really doesn’t need any further words!

Other than… if I had that car, I’d DEF take care of it!! 🤣

Also…

It’s true tho, we spend so much of our time creating our so called perfect world, when really if we focused on the small things, like getting enough and appropriate sleep. 😓 reducing our stress and mental load and nourishing ourselves properly with the VERY BEST fuel (food) we can afford, then of course we’ll run like a well oiled machine, like our car!!šŸš—

It really DOES matter what we fuel our mind and bodies with. Not just food, but also the toxins that go on our skin, the tv / books / reels we absorb. It all matters.

Consider that, next time you sit to mindlessly watch something on tv or use a toxic fuelled moisturiser. Consider what is happening to your body and how your hormones are being affected.

And remember, just like your car, you need water too! More than what you’re drinking, so go and grab a drink right now! šŸ’¦
