The older I get the more I appreciate our backyard.

In fact, ever since I returned from my lifestyle living in a concrete jungle in London ALL those years ago, I’ve felt a deep connection and appreciation for what we have right here on our doorstep.

These moments with my family, adventuring in the hills, on our beautiful land, are so precious to me. Admittedly I do get the odd grunt and whinge from the kids every now and then, but for the most part, they enjoy and know that what we’re exposing them to is not only a healthy lifestyle, leading by example, but exposing them to what many cultures round the world, simply do not have. Space and clean air.

Always be grateful.

What does health and wellness mean to you?

Some year ago, I made a commitment to myself. It involved being ‘consistent’

My health and wellness is my #1 priority.

Which means, I need to get to bed early enough to read, to unwind from the day before I sleep.

I aim to move each and everyday! No matter what!

I have to prepare and be organised with my food otherwise my nutrition can fall off a cliff!

And as best I can, I reduce stress wherever possible.

These are the main pillars for health and wellness for everyone.
