Sometimes I want to lose weight. Sometimes I want to sit and enjoy a bowl of ice cream with my kids guilt free.

Sometimes I want to run 5k. Sometimes I remember I’ve never been a great runner but I do love to walk.

Sometimes I want to lay in bed all day and read a book. Sometimes I’m screaming to feel the chill of cold air on my face and get outside.

Sometimes I look in the mirror and think I should be smaller, if I was smaller I would be prettier and I would earn more, be more successful. Sometimes I look in the mirror and love the woman looking back at me, I feel my husbnads hands wrap around my waist and know he loves every inch of me.

Sometimes I don’t feel worthy of the life I lead. Sometimes I remember that everything I have has been achieved through hard work.

Sometimes I feel like I’m 25. Sometimes I remember I am almost 50!!

Life is full of sometimes. It’s full of brief moments that are passing. Moments of sometimes that became encapsulated in forever.

Sometimes we focus on the negative. Sometimes we allow ourselves to exist in the moment. Sometimes we are stuck in the past.

Sometimes we need a bit of a shake up. Sometimes we think that it’s what we do all the time that matters, so those brief moments build up because we start to feel them as one big event not lots of little ones. It becomes a blur, unclear and hazy.

We forget. It’s actually what we do MOST of the time that counts.

So let the sometimes go, focus on the most of the time. Focus on how you treat yourself, talk to yourself, respect yourself, allow yourself compassion, forgiveness and kindness most of the time. Sometimes we need to remember that. ✨

Push yourself to get up before the rest of the world - start with 7am, then 6am, then 5am. Then 4am: go to the nearest hill with a big coat and a scarf and watch the sun rise.

Push yourself to fall asleep earlier - start with 11pm, then 10pm, then 9pm. wake up in the morning feeling re-energized and comfortable. lie in your garden, feel the sunshine on your skin.

Get into the habit of cooking yourself a beautiful breakfast. fry tomatoes and mushrooms in real butter and garlic, fry an egg, slice up a fresh avocado and sq**rt way too much lemon on it. sit and eat it and do nothing else.

Stretch. start by reaching for the sky as hard as you can, then trying to touch your toes. roll your head. stretch your fingers. stretch everything.

Have a 1L water bottle. start with pushing yourself to drink the whole thing in a day, then try drinking it twice, then three a day.

Have a beautiful diary and pen. write down everything you do, including dinner dates, appointments, assignments, coffees, what you need to do that day. no detail is too small.

Strip your bed of your sheets and empty your underwear draw into the washing machine. wash, then hang them in the sunshine with care. make your bed in full.

Dig your fingers into the earth, plant a seed. see your success as it grows everyday.

Organise your space. fold all your clothes (and bag what you don’t want), clean your mirror, your laptop, vacuum the floor, enjoy your space.

Breathe. practice your deep breathing. ground yourself.

Have a luxurious shower with your favourite music playing. wash your hair, scrub your body, brush your teeth. lather your whole body in moisturiser, get familiar with the part between your toes, your inner thighs, the back of your neck.

Push yourself to go for a walk. take your headphones, go to the beach and walk. smile at strangers walking the other way and be surprised how many smile back.

Message old friends with personal jokes. reminisce. suggest a catch up soon. push yourself to follow through.

Think long and hard about what interests you: find a book about it and read it. there is a book about literally everything.

Become the person you would ideally fall in love with. let cars merge into your lane when driving. stick your tongue out at babies. help an animal. compliment people on their cute clothes. challenge yourself to not ridicule anyone for a whole day. then two. then a week. walk with a straight posture. look people in the eye. ask people about their story. talk to acquaintances so they become friends.

Lay in the sunshine. daydream about the life you would lead if failure wasn’t a thing. open your eyes.

Take small steps to make it happen for you.
Enjoy life, smile more, dance more.

This is SUCH a simple practice That we ca ALL do.

Yip. And yip!

Yip. And yip!

It doesn't matter whether you occasionally pick up a dumbbell or adhere to a strict weightlifting routine.

Well well. Who would’ve thought. I like this science

Well well. Who would’ve thought. I like this science

We often think swimming is cardio for the body, but neuroscience has discovered that it's actually a potent medicine for the brain.

Unlike running or going to the gym, water has a physical "superpower" and is hydrostatic pressure. When submerged, the water pressure gently compresses the body’s blood vessels, pushing 14% more blood into the brain. It’s like an extra shot of oxygen and nutrients just when you need it most.

In addition, the repetitive rhythm of the arm and controlled breathing induce a state similar to deep meditation and release BDNF, a protein known as "brain fertilizer" that repairs neurons damaged by stress and improves memory.

It's not just exercise; it's a biological "reboot" that repairs stress as immersion calms the nervous system instantly.

Improve mood by releasing serotonin and endorphins faster than ground exercise.

Gives you mental clarity by increasing blood flow, clears cognitive "spider webs". If you feel blocked, maybe swimming is a good option.

Ah yip yip and yip. I was proof of this when I did my marathon training. Quite incredible. But you def need to be ready to take sprints on! Want to prepare and get in shape to take on sprints? Then get in touch and I’ll show you how!

High-intensity sprinting can do wonders for your body, particularly when it comes to boosting growth hormone levels. Performing six 30-second sprints with proper rest between each set can increase your human growth hormone levels by an incredible 771%! This powerful hormone plays a crucial role in building muscle, burning fat, and improving overall health.

Sprinting is one of the most effective ways to activate growth hormones, and it doesn’t require hours in the gym. Just a few short bursts of intense effort can trigger your body to release this vital hormone. By incorporating sprints into your workout routine, you’re not only increasing your cardiovascular fitness, but you’re also setting your body up for maximum growth and recovery.

Don’t be afraid to challenge yourself with this high-intensity training. A few quick sprints are all it takes to unlock your body’s full potential. By combining speed with proper rest, you’re fueling your body to grow stronger and leaner, accelerating your fitness progress faster than you might have imagined. 🏃‍♂️💥
