It can be hard to know when to seek help with your child’s eating, especially when so many people say, “They’ll grow out of it.”. But it may be more than just “picky eating.”

Feeding therapy helps you understand what’s behind your child’s eating patterns and gives you practical tools to make mealtimes feel less overwhelming and more successful.

You don’t need to wait until things feel urgent, you can seek support early. DM us to learn more about how our programs can help.

🌟 Creating Inclusive Environments for Neurodivergent Children 🌟

As we celebrate Neurodiversity Celebration Week, we’re excited to share this free resource—a guide for speech therapists, parents, teachers, and other health and education professionals on how to foster inclusive spaces for neurodivergent children. 💙

Every child deserves to be heard, understood, and supported in a way that honors their unique strengths. This resource highlights key ways to:
✅ Promote inclusion in schools and communities
✅ Educate ourselves and others on neurodiversity
✅ Foster effective communication tailored to individual needs
✅ Provide supportive environments that enhance success and well-being
✅ Challenge stigma and advocate for neurodivergent rights

💡 SAVE, SHARE, and PRINT this resource to help spread awareness and encourage inclusive practices in education and healthcare. Together, we can create a world where neurodivergent children thrive! 🌍✨

📌 Tag a colleague, friend, or educator who would find this helpful! Let’s keep the conversation going—comment below with how you promote inclusion in your space! 👇💬

We’re excited to launch our very first online support group, designed specifically for 14-17 year olds!

For a while now, we’ve noticed the need for a space where young people who stutter can connect and support each other - and we’re excited to bring this opportunity to life.

To make it accessible for teens across Aotearoa, we’re hosting this group online over three sessions. With fun activities planned, it’s a great chance to connect with others who stutter in a relaxed, low key setting.

Dates: 7th & 28th May, 18th June

Time: 6:30 to 7:30 pm

Location: Online via Zoom

For more info, check out the flyer below.

If your teen would like to join us, please RVSP by emailing support@start.org.nz
