Cake made yesterday for a birthday, recipe for the basic cake from my forthcoming cookbook, plus a jar of cherries, whipped cream and ganache. Pronounced delicious.

At last! My cookbook is ready to go to the printer. A massive thanks to Debbie Morgan and Linley Rose.
But before I send it, I would really value YOUR opinion on the kind of binding to choose. Do I go for the cheaper option, the spiral bound option or the top quality option?
Here are the 4 possibilities, I would love you to vote.
Just send me the number related to the option you prefer.
1. $40 looks nice, satin paper, does not lie flat when opened.
2. $45 spiral bound, satin paper, opens flat, stays open.
3. $50 regular book paper, opens flat and stays open.
4. $55 smooth book paper, opens flat, stays open.
Pretty excited!
I personally would prefer the last option, I know how frustrating it is when cooking and your recipe book keeps closing.
But, I do appreciate that cost is an issue for many. By the way, this is not a profit making exercise for me, it would be good to cover some costs, that’s all.

The Coromandel Players are asking for the support of the community. A number of us have been working for several months now on two one act plays of about 45mins each. The performing rights are expensive, in this case over $500 per play!
And that is why we need your bums on our seats! That is , we need you to come along ! Our theatre is an asset to our town , but it only exists with YOUR support!
The heating will be on , and the bar opens 1/2 hour before the show.
Only 3 performances, this weekend!
