Dannevirke Family Chiropractic proudly marks 50 years of continuous service to the Dannevirke community! Founded in 1975 by former All Black rugby player Dr. John Loveday, the practice was built on strength, dedication, and a deep commitment to wellness.

Since then, a number of dedicated chiropractors have followed in his footsteps, continuing to serve with love, care, and a strong sense of community.

Today, Dr. Oscar Bacino, chiropractor has the honour of carrying the baton — and keeping the flame alive. He proudly continues the legacy of helping families and individuals thrive through chiropractic care.

One of the most beautiful parts of this journey? We are privileged to still care for patients who began their chiropractic journey with us in 1975 — a true testament to trust, continuity, and the value of long-term wellbeing.

Hi folks. We understand a lot of you think a “sound” should be heard when a chiropractor “manipulates” the spine🤔

However, let us clarify this: a chiropractic adjustment isn’t about “cracking” bones or “popping” joints—it’s about the nervous system ✨

Your spine is like a highway for nerve signals traveling between your brain and body. When a vertebra isn’t moving properly, it can create interference in those signals, leading to pain, tension, or even dysfunction in other areas of your body😞
