Hello all. It is with a heavy heart that I am posting to tell you that I have to close Kowhai Chiropractic for the foreseeable future. This is because I have Long Covid. I am not in danger, and I feel very lucky to have a wonderful medical team around me and to have the skills and resources to manage this well. I also feel very lucky that my immune system had been well-primed for this by vaccinations, and that we have had the luxury in New Zealand of learning from millions of previous patients around the world. All of which is to say: I expect to be back at some point in the future! I am sorry for the loss of continuity of care, and we will do our best to refer you as individuals to other appropriate clinicians. It has been a pleasure to serve you, Selwyn! Regards, Julia

Quick update from us here at Kowhai Chiropractic - the clinic will be closed next week from Monday 28th March through to Friday 1st April (and no its not an April Fools joke 😂 and its not covid).
Julia is taking a well earned break .....
Back to normal again from Monday 4th April....

Merry Christmas everyone and Happy Holidays
We will be here for you over the festive season with normal hours up to 1pm Friday 24th; closed for the statutory days but contactable for emergencies (just ring the clinic number 0212838892); then starting back Wednesday 5th January.
We wish to thank all our clients for their patience over 2021 with what the year has thrown at us all.

Kia Ora, Canterbury. Thank you for your patience while Julia returns to work; she is finally back! There are a few techniques she has to do differently at the moment, but she is working hard to make sure you get the same great care you're used to. We've been asked quite a few questions about vaccination and the move to the traffic light system, so we also wanted to reassure you that as healthcare providers we will never ask you about your vaccine status or deny you treatment. (If you choose to tell us whether you are vaccinated that makes our job slightly easier, but it's up to you). We will continue to protect ourselves, all of our patients and our community through cleaning, masks, and through maintaining full vaccinations and boosters for all of our staff.

LABOUR WEEKEND OPENING HOURS
With this coming Monday being a holiday the clinic will be closed on the Monday 25th in observance and also the Tuesday 26th as per normal. We will be open again on the Wednesday 27th 9am to 5pm; the Thursday 28th 10am to 7pm and the Friday 29th 8am right through to 6pm to make sure everyone is back on track ......
Take care over the long weekend - go hard; enjoy; relax and travel safe if you are heading out of the region.
