The purpose of the survey is to gather feedback on patient preferences regarding general practice services, including both face-to-face and telehealth appointments.

STAFF SHORTAGES
We are extremely short of Dr's this week, we apologise to our patients who we have had to cancel or move their face to face appointments. We are very grateful for your understanding. Please expect longer wait times through our urgent care clinic over the next two weeks. As always patients with the most urgent need will be given priority and seen first. Our Dr Triage service is still available Monday - Friday 8am-4pm.

Fee Increase: Effective 1st August 2025
As a Very Low-Cost Access (VLCA) Medical Centre, we remain committed to keeping healthcare affordable and accessible for our community.
However, due to increasing costs, we will be making a small adjustment to some of our fees from 1 August 2025. These changes are in line with government guidelines and will help us continue providing high-quality care.
We are still completing a full review of all service fees for our practice. These will be advertised on our website and in practice once completed.

Patients can continue to phone us outside of our business hours on 09 439 8079 and you will be triaged by our After Hours Service - Ka Ora Telehealth. They can organise a telephone consult or a video call with a Dr or if face to face care is needed they will forward you to the appropriate service.

2pm: We are currently experiencing phone issues. Technicians are trying to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. We apologise for any in convenience

*** Update 22.05.25: Our phones are still not working as they should. Technicians are still attempting to get the phones working. A temporary fix is in place for now, with Dargaville Hospital calls being diverted to Whangarei Hospital and calls to the Medical Centre coming directly to us, however with so many calls coming through, some patients are still finding they are unable to get through.
We appreciate your patience as we work with the Dargaville Hospital to fix the issue
