Our residents got to enjoy a fun and hot afternoon by the pool. We took two van loads of residents to enjoy the sun by the pool and some yummy slow cooked pork and salads for lunch, followed up by some ice cream to cool down.

Our residents enjoyed an evening with Christmas carolers coming in to sing for us in our newly renovated garden area, we also invited and were joined by Kauri Coast Resthome to enjoy the festivities!

We had a great afternoon yesterday joining in on the Dargaville Santa Parade! Lots of fun for the residents 🎄🧑‍🎄 our special guest “The Grinch” brought out a lot of laughs and smiles as we went past! Look forward to next years Parade!

We have been busy at work outside with upgrades to our garden and patio area in our middle garden and it is ready just in time for the summer weather for residents and families to enjoy.

We are hoping to get a coffee cart in here for peak times to serve residents and families, we would love some feedback from people if this would be something they would like.

We have been working hard with our renovations in the Dementia Unit. This has included a revamp of the Dining Room, Lounge, Nurses Station, Bathrooms and hallways. With also the revamp of rooms which is still a work in progress.

We have been busy at work over the last year doing renovations here at Norfolk Court.

This has included lounges in the East, West and Dementia wing being full renovated. We have also had all the hallways, Reception and Nurses stations have had a full revamp also.

We are now in the process of having our bedrooms repainted and renovated, this is a work in progress with a number of rooms having been done so far but still working on this one being completed. Our new renovated rooms, come freshly painted, updated interiors which include Tvs, Furniture and fittings in the rooms.

We are also getting our middle garden ready to go for summer with a new garden shade installed. Keep an eye out for updates on this.

We welcome anyone to come pop in for a visit if they wish to see any of the renovations and a chat.

We would like to thank the community who came together and helped us out with our Fundraiser for Breast Cancer.

We would like to thank Fosters Home Decorating Orrs Pharmacy Dargaville Snazzi Gifts Jon Matich Surfwear B'Arch Wear who generously donated items for our Raffles and Auctions!

We were able to reach over our first Goal Target.

Our recent renovation project has breathed new life into two different areas of our property.

The first space is located in the original villa and has been painted a calming shade of blue. This update has given the room a fresh and modern feel, while still maintaining its original charm.

In the other wing, we have upgraded a room to provide a more comfortable and functional space.

These renovations are just the latest example of our ongoing commitment to providing the best possible experience for our guests and visitors.
