People with ADHD have:

-higher rates of su***de attempts
-higher rates of anxiety and depression
-higher rates of homelessness
-lower lifetime income due to underemployment

This isn’t a personal failure.
It’s a systems failure.

If you have a strong sense of justice sensitivity, consider signing the petition for an ADHD inquiry.

There are only a few weeks left to add your name.

🌿 Just saw the new movie, and it was amazing! One of my favorite moments was when the character Snake asks, "Permission to hug?" This simple question highlights the importance of consent and boundaries, especially for children.

Asking for permission to hug is not just a nice gesture—it's a powerful way to show respect for personal space and individuality. This practice is especially crucial for neurodivergent children, who may have different comfort levels with physical touch.

Let’s all remember to prioritise consent in our interactions, showing kindness and understanding to everyone, regardless of their needs.

Be like snake! 🐍

🌿 Embracing Our Inner River:
A Wellness Reflection

Have you ever thought of yourself as a river? Like a river, we flow through life, continuously navigating the spaces around us . Our flow may vary sometimes speeding ahead with enthusiasm, at other times slowing down to reflect and take in the scenery.

Just as a river's edges are shaped by the landscape it travels through, our experiences and relationships mold us. When nurtured and cared for, we flourish like a vibrant ecosystem along the riverbanks, drawing strength from our surroundings.

Life's journey can present obstacles, much like a river encountering a dam. Yet, just as rivers find ways to redirect their flow, we too can adapt and discover new paths, overcoming challenges with resilience and grace.

At times, we may feel calm and poised, while at other moments, our energy may surge with excitement. Beneath the surface, each of us holds our unique stories and experiences, waiting to be explored as we continue our journey.

As we flow, we may find our paths diverging or even intertwining with others, but we all share a common original universal connection that binds us together.

Celebrate your inner river, embracing both the tranquility and the turbulence. Each moment is an opportunity to grow, adapt, and thrive as we navigate through the currents of life.

Take a moment today to appreciate your flow.

How can you cultivate care for yourself and those around you?

Remember, like a river, you have the strength to find your way, no matter the obstacles that arise.

Words matter. A lot.

The language we use around neurodiversity shapes how we listen, support, and include people. This resource by Live Experience Edicator breaks down common neuro terms and explains why their meaning matters.

👉🏼 When we change or soften these definitions, we risk losing the history, voices, and community behind them. This is about respect, understanding, and making space for all kinds of minds and bodies.

If you want to learn and do better, this is a great place to start 🧡
