Health & Wellbeing for Arts Education

Health & Wellbeing for Arts Education / Putting wellbeing at the heart of arts education / We are five passionate people who believe in the wellbeing of educators as well as students. WHO ARE WE?

Drama NZ members can access our resources at: https://www.drama.org.nz/hawfae Our collective was created while all attending a Drama NZ Conference in early 2018. We were all presenting different workshops and got talking about extending our focus on wellbeing in education. Since then we have taken our individual knowledge, skills and passions into our own workplaces and now into wider communities. VISION:
To be advocates for wellbeing in the arts education sector by providing quality resources, guidelines, and support. We want to empower arts educators to make positive choices around their health and wellbeing; with the hope that there will be a flow-on effect to their students and colleagues.
