Yesterday, I had a heartfelt coaching conversation with a friend who wasn’t sure if coaching could really help with what she was carrying. Afterwards, she shared this with me:

"Honestly, I thought my issues were too complicated for you as coach and that a therapist would be better suited for it. Yet after just one conversation, I left feeling hopeful — like change might actually be possible — and with practical tools to start creating the transformation I’ve been wanting."

It warmed my heart, and I thought it was a worthwhile message to share. Many people aren’t quite sure where coaching fits or what its purpose really is.

Holistic Coaching meets you where you are and addresses all facets of your being — practical, physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual — depending on what you most want to explore, lean into, or free yourself from.

You don’t have to have it all figured out before you begin. Sometimes clarity comes through the conversation itself.

If you’re curious about what holistic coaching could offer you, reach out — I’d love to connect.

You’ve probably heard me talk a lot about scars lately. This week a client asked me to explore how her caesarean scar — from 18 years ago — might still be affecting her body.

On the surface the scar looked beautifully healed, but underneath, the adhesions were pulling through the left side. We could feel restrictions at the diaphragm, shoulder, and hip.

With gentle myofascial release on the scar and surrounding tissue, the adhesions began to soften, her movement felt freer, and even the “tennis elbow” symptoms in her left arm eased.

You don’t need a visible scar to benefit from this kind of work. Fascia can develop adhesions from inflammation, injury, or long-term compensatory posture.

If you’re curious about how your body could feel more fluid, aligned, and at ease, get in touch or book online:

Scars—even when they look “healed” on the outside—can have a deep impact on the body.
A C-section scar, or any surgical scar, may create internal adhesions that affect nearby organs, posture, joints, and soft tissue. You might not see it, but your body can still feel it.

Myofascial Release can help restore fluidity, space, and freedom in these areas by gently working through the restrictions under the surface.

True release happens when the nervous system feels safe. That’s why I love myofascial release—it lets me support your nervous system while also working directly with the soft tissue (muscles and fascia) through my hands.
