We are working to make yoga more accessible to more people, as well as offering RestRoom classes to alleviate the unprecedented volumes of stress we’ve all experienced over the past years. Our classes are more about the time of day and the teachers teaching them. We make allowances for an evolution of traditional practices so they are relevant to our contemporary world. In the RestRoom classes, you will be cocooned to an elevated level of comfort and quietly guided through very simple breathing techniques. This is time to simply do nothing so that your nervous system can steady and reset. All our classes are taught across all skill levels and we have a beginners course so you can feel confident with the basics. Every class on the timetable will finish with a significant Rest period in proportion to the length of the class.

(starting 15 minutes earlier)

Wednesday Qi Gong 8.15 - 9.00am
(starting 15 minutes earlier)

Good Morning 9.30 - 10.30am
(starting 15 minutes later but finishing at the same time)

Lunch 12.15 -1.00pm
(starting 15 minutes later)

Tuesday Slow Down Yin 7.15 - 8.15pm
(finishing 15 minutes earlier)

We’re excited to welcome back the gorgeous Moana Kyle of , guiding tamariki on a playful yogic journey of body, breath and mind ✨

These one-off school holiday classes are a beautiful way for kids to move, stretch, breathe and find calm — all while having plenty of fun in a supportive space.

🧒 Kids Yoga Club — $10 per child per class

Monday 19th & Thursday 22nd January
• 1.15–2.15pm | Ages 5–8
• 2.30–3.30pm | Ages 9–12 (13 if pre–high school)

Spaces are limited, so we recommend booking early.

Looking forward workshopping some singing goodness down in Dunedin at my favourite yoga place EVAAAA ! Let's open our throats and make some noise! Offering insight into one's own connection with their voice, opening up into playfulness and sending some frequencies through our bodies! As well as touching on healthy singing technique.

✨ NEW TEACHER ALERT ✨

A warm welcome to our new teacher Catalina, she will be sharing her love of yoga here at nu on Tuesday lunchtimes. Read her bio below:

"I began practicing yoga asana on and off as a teenager but it wasn’t until I moved to Aotearoa in 2016 that yoga became a steady part of my life. While drawn to the physical aspects initially, I soon noticed the emotional and mental benefits that yoga offers.

I completed my first yoga teacher training in early 2021, which opened the gates to an ongoing journey of learning — exploring this ancient practice alongside anatomy, physiology and trauma-aware approaches to movement and rest. I am trained in Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra and Meditation.

Currently, in the final stages of becoming a fully qualified yoga therapist, I’m passionate about guiding yoga as a pathway to resilience, inner curiosity and overall wellbeing. Aware that everyone’s journey through life is different and experiences will leave unique imprints in our body, mind and nervous system. I aim to create a supportive and welcoming space for people of all ages and abilities, where mindful breath-led movement and rest are at the heart of the practice."

Our 4-week Beginners Yoga Course is the perfect place to begin (or begin again). Across gentle, supportive weekly sessions, you’ll learn foundational postures, safe alignment, functional movement, and the art of softening your nervous system.

No flexibility needed — just curiosity and a willingness to slow down.
