Hi Lindy Chick followers! We hope you had a great Easter.

It is now less than a month to go until our High Tea on the 3rd May for Otago Community Hospice! There are still tickets available, via our tagged post on our page, so check it out now if you haven't already.

As usual, what we do cannot be done without the massive support from our sponsors.

This year, EBB-DUNEDIN have donated $300 for a night at their luxury boutique hotel. The Lindy Chicks have all stayed here previously, and it really is a lovely hotel, right in the centre of the city so is easy access to food, drinks, and entertainment for a great night out! Please let your friends and family know about this auction, especially if they are unable to come, but would be keen to put their hand up for a bid!

When facing a terminal illness, it’s natural to hold onto hope.
It’s also okay to ask honest questions about what might lie ahead.
Walking two paths means allowing space for both.

You might ask:
• What am I hoping for?
• What do I need to plan for, just in case?

Staying hopeful and being prepared are not opposites. They can sit side by side. This balance can help you feel more positive, informed, and in control.

If you or your whānau are navigating a terminal diagnosis, this guide offers gentle prompts to help with these conversations.
