It is with great sadness and aroha that we share the passing of our founder and patron Dame Patricia Harrison. A mighty Totara with outstanding leadership who has had incredible impact in our Ōtepoti community and rakatahi through generations. Dame Pat touched so many with her wisdom, advocacy and belief in young people and in community and will be sorely missed, remembered with aroha. Her mahi and drive will continue to impact through the legacy of the Trust, the individuals, and community she has touched in her incredible life.

Dame Pat - Kua whetūrangitia koe – you have taken your place amongst the stars

When OYWT went out to visit the Altrusa International of Taieri Club based in Mosgiel, we came back with a generous gift of food for our rangatahi as well as hygiene and period products. Thanks so much for your support Altrusa - the cupboards are now groaning with food, which is being well used on these cold wintery days :)
