We are going through a little growth spurt and we are on the lookout for new talents to join our team.

We are looking for

1. New Zealand Registered Pharmacists
We have THREE positions available, either full time ( 40 to 45 hours a week ) or part time 4 days on 3 days off. You MUST be currently registered to practice as a pharmacist in New Zealand.

2. Qualified Pharmacy Technicians
We have TWO positions available. Above average remuneration is offered for PACT certified technicians.

3. Trainee Technicians
If you are keen to embark on training to become a Pharmacy Technician, we are on the lookout for TWO candidates

4. Pharmacy Retail Assistants
We have ONE position available to start in November 2023.

FLU VACCINE AVAILABLE FROM 1st of April.

Flu Vaccines are free for those most likely to get sick.

In 2023, flu vaccinations are free for:

- Children aged 6 months to 12 years old (not available from antidote)
- Pregnant people
- Māori and Pacific people over 55
- People aged 65 and over
- People with underlying health conditions including heart disease, cancer, diabetes and serious asthma
- People with significant mental illness such as schizophrenia or those currently accessing mental health services.

Also available is COVID bivalent booster for anyone over 30 years of age.

All our antidote pharmacies are now a collection point for RATs.

UPDATE: Not all pharmacies in Dunedin are offering this service so please be kind and understand that not all pharmacies have the capacity to offer this while we still are looking after your pharmaceutical needs.

If you are :
1. A registered critical service worker ( ask your employer for registration number or visit https://www.health.govt.nz/covid-19-novel-coronavirus/covid-19-health-advice-public/assessment-and-testing-covid-19/rapid-antigen-testing )

OR

2. If you are a household contact with no symptoms

You can be issued RATs for free from our pharmacies.

To expedite the process, please make sure that you meet one of the two requirements above and then you MUST go to

1. this website and request your order number https://request rats.covid19.health.nz and follow the steps on the page
2. You will be issued an “R” number, you must bring this number to claim your tests at the pharmacy
3. Bring some form if ID with you especially if you are picking up on behalf of someone else
4. That’s it!

These are FREE kits specifically for the criteria above.

If you are sick, in self isolation or have been tested positive, you are still barred from entering the premise. Call us instead from outside the pharmacy and we will meet you in protective gear. We do not do diagnostics test inside the pharmacy.

Our phones are running red hot so please be concise when you call and be aware that our staff are doing the best they can to answer your questions.

Our RATs for retail sale are still arriving. We will post again once that is available.

Bring your whanau in for a booster and your tamariki can get their first dose too. Then you can settle down for a free hot drink or a fluffy for the kids courtesy of Daily Dose Cafe.

Easily accessible and with plenty of free carparks out front, we are open for bookings ( book at www.bookmyvaccine.covid19.health.nz ) and space for walk-ins and also taking paediatric bookings.

We appreciate that the community is very concerned about the arrival of Omicron and keen to get the booster.

However, while the Health Minister Chris Hipkins has announced the change in booster interval yesterday , this is not to be implemented until 05 January 2022.

Until then the current 6 months interval still applies. We are not authorised to give exemption to this current rule.

Please be kind and understand our position. Our staff are getting swamped with enquiries, requests and demands.
