We offer rest home, hospital level, day care and respite services for older people in a homey environment close to family and friends in the heart of Dunedin.

Located in the historical part of North Dunedin and a stone’s throw away from the beautiful Woodhaugh Gardens, South Care Rest Home and Hospital is a warm and caring place for older people requiring rest home, hospital level, day care and respite services. Our accessible location means family and friends can visit as often as they wish. Our spacious indoor and outdoor areas are ideal for enjoying well-planned activities. We are proudly part of Sound Care Group, with five homes in New Zealand offering holistic nursing care for older people, including one that offers care for differently abled younger people as well.
