Another one from the archives: Office Jan.
Screw the work she was hired for: Jan has far more important things to do. She's currently organising a morning tea to raise money for the construction of a local swimming pool. Jan's spent a fair amount of time sourcing the perfect bunting to decorate the kitchen, and if everything goes well, they'll make enough cash to offset the expenses she rang up for the event.
Every office should have a Jan; they really are indispensable in a modern work environment. Are you the new guy? Jan will show you around. Can't find the leave forms? Jan will sort you out. Running out of sav during Friday-night drinks? Jan will reveal the secret stash.
When not bustling about the office or gossiping away in the kitchen, Jan can be seen powering around the block with her lunchtime walking group. Get that step count up, Jan!
