The Brotein Story
Brainchild of Founders Hamiora Bennett (Hami) and Raymond Rose (Ray). Brotein is a no-nonsense protein that is e.p.i.c. (Eco-friendly, Pure, Inclusive & Clean). From the dark alleyways and cold stone walls of the exclusive and hidden Dunedin “Strength Factory” gym many years ago the shape/concept and story took place developing it slowly over training and coffee hangs with the boys.
Fast forward to October 2018 and the first products launched. Our products are sourced in NZ, blended and mixed in Nelson by a NZ owned business, packed in re-useable and the most eco-friendly packaging we can find, we have a minimal product list to reflect pure functionality because we were sick of the crazy flavours and additives often present in foreign and mainstream products and currently our products are only sold in NZ for kiwis.
Further on we are just trying to have some fun hence the name, we are after all just some typical bros who think the name is funny too, much like the Kiwi/Pacifica attitudes. Where possible we are implementing Maori principles into the business as we are proud to be a NZ and Maori business.
