Important Patient Notice – Temporary System Upgrade Outage
Our practice is upgrading our patient management system to improve efficiency and future services. As part of this upgrade, there will be a short period where we will not have access to patient records.
📅 Outage period:
• From Friday 27 September, 5:00pm until Monday 29 September, after midday.
During this time:
• We will not be able to book or change appointments.
• We cannot check results or access patient records.
• We will be unable to generate prescriptions
• Manage My Health will not be available. You will not be able to login to Manage My Health until after midday Monday 29th September.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience while we complete this important system upgrade.
If you have urgent health needs during this time, please phone the practice as usual on 03 488 2754.

You may have noticed an increase in Flu cases across Otago; many children and adults are being hit hard with this.
We have had an influx of calls to our center regarding the Flu, and we want to help you to know how you can protect yourself and others when you do become unwell.

RAT tests are available to purchase from us at a cost of $10, this will test for Influenza A & B, Covid and RSV, if you require one, please contact reception on 03 4882754

While the flu can be awful, the best thing you can do is stay home, rest and stay hydrated.

Whooping cough, or pertussis, is a highly contagious respiratory disease that can cause severe coughing fits, difficulty breathing, and even life-threatening complications, especially in infants and young children.

The good news? Vaccination is a safe and effective way to prevent it! The DTaP vaccine (for children) and Tdap booster (for teens and adults) protect against pertussis, tetanus, and diphtheria.

Protect your loved ones and your community—keep up-to-date with vaccinations. Pregnant women are especially encouraged to get the Tdap vaccine during each pregnancy to help pass immunity to their babies. Together, we can stop the spread of whooping cough. 💉✨
