spring morning ambles

We almost gave up on finding this harbour. Scooting around Negara on a Scoopy. No data, no google maps. Kindness of a stranger helped us stop going around and around in circles in the maze of streets. We rode for around 5 hours in the mountains and the coast this day. Local people only, fun using our very basic Indonesian to get food and fuel along the way.

Majestic Perancak Buji, West Bali. These fishing vessels hail from Sulawesi, the people fleeing from the Dutch invasion. Hand woven fishing baskets are used on board. Very friendly fishermen. No doubt very proud of their boats.
