EAST OTAGO EVENT CENTRE
This is a purpose built modern facility on the Main Road in Waikouaiti that caters for a range of uses:

Opening to a large foyer this inviting Centre is light, stylish and modern, with heat-pumps and adjustable lighting throughout its carpeted rooms. The total maximum
capacity for the East Otago Events Centre complex is 500 people, this includes the Doctors Surgery and the Plunket room. Foyer: 120 pax
This area can be hired on its own for activities such as displays or public drop in events. The Johnny Jones Auditorium:
Our large auditorium has courts marked suitable for basket ball, volley ball, netball and badminton along with installed basketball hoops. There are clean change room facilities including metered showers. The stage area is a feature of the Auditorium and can be hired separately. The kitchen facilities are close to the Auditorium which provides the opportunity to cater for large functions such as weddings and reunions. Viewing Platform: 60 pax
This upstairs area provides views onto the Johnny Jones Auditorium. Committee Room: 20 pax
Suitable for smaller functions or meetings this room has a table/chairs and a white board available. John Brown Function Room: 65 pax
This is an open space room although tables and chairs are available if needed. The Committee and John Brown Room can be hired individually or opened up to create a larger space suitable for small functions and meetings, with the kitchen and foyer adjacent. Andrew Noone Board Room: 25 pax
Located upstairs is the board room, with a large oval table this space is designed for meetings and smaller functions. Other items available:

- Crockery and cutlery for hire

- Projector and remote controlled screen
