Sexual abuse is everywhere and people can avoid the conversation or start it so people can heal. 1 in 3 women and 1 in 8 men are sexually assaulted but this number could definitely be higher.

I am proud that more spaces are opening up for these conversations so we can help our tamariki and mokopuna keep safe 🩵❤️💛💚 Little Matters NZ

ANZAC DAY 2026

Today we pause as a nation to remember.

ANZAC Day is more than a date on the calendar, it’s a moment to honour the courage, sacrifice, and spirit of all those who have served, and continue to serve our country.

From the shores of Gallipoli to peacekeeping missions around the world, their bravery and mateship have shaped the Australia we know today.

We remember those who gave their lives.
We stand with those who returned.
We thank those who still serve.

Whether you attended a dawn service, a local march or simply took a quiet moment this morning we stand together in reflection.

We do not celebrate war, we celebrate peace
Today we remembered those who fought for peace 🕊

Lest we forget. 🌺

Kia Ora Koutou,

I thought I would post a little panui for whānau who are curious and have asked why we don’t have an adult and tamariki divisions for our tournaments?

Don’t get me wrong in the future we definitely might do this, and I can see why people would rather it be spilt off into different age related pools !!

However the intention of these tournaments is all about our TAMARIKI, it’s all about making memories WITH and ALONGSIDE our babies. We are providing the safe space for them to play their favourite sport with their parents, or even playing completely out of their comfort zone at a new sport because they watch brother play and want to have a go. We have made this space for our community with the intention of bringing more kotahitanga into our community as well as more whānau friendly events !!

Most tournaments you go to they will be divided by age and even skill, not here we want whānau to get amongst it TOGETHER!! Across both tournaments we have had players NEVER play that sport and they were able to give it a go in a fun, competitive, whānau setting.

I look forward to every tournament, and we are so excited for the next 2 !! Like I said next year we may change it up and spilt it off but for now it’s all about our babies and creating memories for and with them.
