Was cool to meet this Dude just before receiving my Blue Belt and before he got his purple. I 💯 agree with the Bro, Jiu Jitsu gives you something internally, you can’t find anywhere else.

He told me the most important Belt was the white one, it takes bravery and courage to step on the Mats! I’d heard it before but it hit different coming from him. Lols I didn’t even realise who he really was at the time, I just knew he was smashing competitions, let’s just say I came back to Aotearoa and binged watch most of his movies!

Great guy also, I was flying back into a Cyclone and he was really concerned for the people back home, and asked about 3 times if I was sure my Mum and family were safe. Look forward to a roll some time Tom 👊🏽🥋🫶🏽

Both Sacha and Karl were invited by different schools in Queenstown and Christchurch to korero about Honohono today! Super proud of you korua! And awesome to hear the Rangatahi got right into it, alongside some buzzed out teachers 😅
