Every minute someone calls for an ambulance in NZ ⏱️🚑
Chest pain, breathing problems, falls, patients who were generally unwell or those who were unconscious made up the highest number of ambulance incidents.
💡Almost 15% of incidents were referrals from healthcare practitioners, like GPs, when their patient needed emergency care.
In a medical emergency, we're here for you! 💛🚑

We are continuing to monitor the weather situation impacting multiple regions.

If you are in an area under weather warnings and watches, please ensure you keep up to date and follow instructions from your local NZ Civil Defence.

Remember:
✅ Put safety first. Don’t take any chances. Act quickly if you see rising water.
✅ Do not try to walk, play, swim, or drive in floodwater.
✅ Help others if it is safe to do so, especially people who may require special assistance.
✅ If you need to evacuate bring with you any essential items you may need including medication, warm clothing and baby items.

Kia kaha and stay safe 💛
