Hato Hone St John’s annual campaign is all about helping more New Zealanders learn how to save a life.
💔 Cardiac arrest can strike anyone, anywhere — your mum, your mate, your neighbour. Every second counts, and knowing what to do in those first few minutes can mean the difference between life and loss.
That’s why we’re making lifesaving skills more accessible, especially in communities without easy access to defibrillators.
The 3 Steps for Life are simple but powerful:

2️⃣ Start CPR immediately

🚗✨ A Huge Thank You to the Geraldine Matariki Motor Muster Team! ✨🚗

We’re incredibly grateful to the organisers of the Geraldine Matariki Motor Muster for their amazing support!

Now in its third year, the event, held in June, was a roaring success. Entry was by gold coin donation, and all proceeds were generously donated to Hato Hone St John Geraldine.

Thanks to this wonderful community effort, the local Area Committee was able to purchase three new St John PowerBeat X3 AEDs and essential consumables. These will replace older units in the Geraldine community that have reached the end of their lifespan.

Your generosity helps us continue saving lives and supporting our community. Thank you for making a real difference! 💛
