Here we go! The very first new moon of the astrological year is arriving this Friday, 17th of April, lighting up our skies in New Zealand from 2:42 am until 11:52 pm (Sidereal time).

This is not just any new moon; it is a fiery one, full of that bold Aries energy! It is all about Ashwini Nakshatra, the Star of the Transport. I love this one. It is a powerful day, perfect for almost anything you want to start or move forward with. Honestly, it is a time when the universe seems to say: go for it!

I want to ride this wave of good energy with you! So, here is my little reminder: come join me for a Special Extra Class this Sunday at 9 am at Reset. Everyone is welcome, no matter your level.

Nature shows us that every ending leads to a new beginning. We can see this in our yoga practice, especially in a vinyasa class. Each posture flows into the next, and the sequence repeats as often as we choose. At the end, we rest and use that time to renew ourselves, leaving us a little more balanced and ready to face the world outside.
Like the changing seasons, we go through our own cycles of letting go of what we no longer need so we can grow again. It is a chance to start fresh.
Take this time of renewal to look within and support your own growth. Real change starts deep inside, not just on the surface.

We are excited for April and are making a few changes.

✨ We’ve added more HOT YOGA, now also on Tuesdays from 4 pm to 5.15 pm with teacher . Go, hot yoga! 🔥

✨ Tati is away for her wedding in Brazil, and we couldn't be happier for her. 💕 She will be back at the end of May. 🙏

So, we are changing the Gentle Yoga to Wednesdays at 6 pm, together with Beginners with Maria. These are two very similar classes, both equally great for reinforcing the foundations of yoga.

This Full Moon in Virgo, which falls on Hasta Nakshatra, is special because it highlights our ability to take our dreams into our own hands and make them real.
Virgo is an earth sign that helps us bring our goals into our daily routines. This is a great day to plan your next steps and use the supportive energy, since all the planets are now moving forward.

It’s the perfect night to write down your intentions and do rituals for what comes next. This is really a “two-in-one” Full Moon, since it also falls on Hanuman Jayanti. Hanuman, the monkey deity, is known as the perfect devotee.

This makes it an ideal time to commit to your dreams and anything you want to dedicate yourself to. Hanuman rituals are also considered astrological remedies for Mars and Saturn, which can help bring more patience and commitment. If you want to connect with Hanuman’s energy on this day, I suggest listening to the Hanuman Chalisa mantra.
