Administrator - Part time, 9-12, Monday to Friday
Gisborne Fracture Clinic, Ormond Road
Gisborne Fracture Clinic is a privately owned fracture unit offering acute consultation and casting to ACC patients in the Tairawhiti region.
Based at Coastal Radiology, we can offer patients onsite Xray and Ultrasound, dedicated appointment times and a casting/orthotics service.
As our part-time administrator you will:
• Be first point of contact for our patients onsite and by phone.
• Manage referrals daily and book patient appointments into our weekly clinic.
• Ensure imaging (Xray, Ultrasound and MRI) referrals are sent to providers on and offsite.
• Book follow up patient appointments.
• Ensure imaging has been completed.
• Check and send specialist letters to referrers (GP’s, physios as well as copied to ACC)
• Complete ACC medical certificates ready to be authorised.
• Complete and send physio referral forms.
About you:
Your polite and friendly manner will make our patients feel welcomed and looked after.
You are dependable and won’t let our small team down; Your common-sense approach means you can see what needs to be done and make it happen, and you don’t get easily flustered when we have a stream of patients onsite.
You are not afraid of technology, you will be navigating Indici practice management software (but don’t worry we’ll show you how) as well as emails, an easy referral site and the clinic phone.
