Meet out front of the club 10 mins before sessios start so we can get everyone sorted and signed in, then it’s straight into the fun. 😎

Due to high demand, we’ve currently sold out of vests and are waiting on our next order to arrive.
If you don’t have a vest yet, please bring a bright rashie or top so your child is easy to spot on the beach.

🌊 Honouring the past, securing the future 💛

Midway Surf Life Saving Club has launched an endowment fund with Sunrise Foundation, seeded by a donation from Jude Hall in memory of her late husband and club life member, Rocky Hall.

The club then added a generous contribution of their own to establish the Midway Surf Life Saving Club Endowment Fund, a lasting investment that will support lifesaving, surf sport, and community for generations to come.

Club Chair Jared Phelps says it’s about making decisions now to strengthen Midway for the future. “We want to ensure Midway can keep doing what it does best – providing a safe, welcoming place for families, young people, and beachgoers to connect, grow, and stay safe in the surf.”

With membership numbers soaring, this new fund helps underpin vital services while supporting the next generation of surf athletes and nippers. 🌞

Yesterday saw the annual Intermediate Schools Challenge down at Midway. Thank you to the Lifeguards who attended from Wainui and Midway SLSC and all the parents and teachers from Gisborne Intermediate, Ilminster Intermediate, Tauranga Intermediate, Mt Maunganui Intermediate, Whakatane Intermediate and Taupo Intermediate who helped make the day a huge success.
