Free BBQ and a chance to chat to Jono about his mission and what it’s like swimming the length of the North Island!

Swim4TheOcean is Jono Ridler’s long-distance swim from North Cape to Wellington - a powerful coastal journey raising awareness about the damage caused by bottom trawling and urging action to safeguard our oceans

🌟Spread the word locally so boaties, swimmers, surfers and the local Gizzy community can keep an eye out for Jono as he swims into the bay and into Midway Beach.

Midway definitely has a small but great group of Officials (volunteer parents) who spend all day on the beach across multiple days at multiple different carnivals. It’s important that we all thank you for the time you put in, because no officials = no surf sport events. Thank you 🙏
