Mahi a Atua Kia pakari ai tō tātou Mātauranga Māori i roto i te mahi hauora. Whaia te toi huarewa hei tautoko, Mauri ora! This page has been set up by Diana and Mark Kopua.

Mātauranga Māori training for the workforce, the community, whānau…for everyone. Personal and/or professional development like no other. Mahi a Atua was developed by Diana (nee Rangihuna). Her and her husband Mark, and the Te Kurahuna team, introduced Mahi a Atua to the Tairawhiti and Hauraki. It has become a 'way of being' that can be interpreted in many ways. The common element to Mahi a Atua as

an intervention is the deliberate effort to work as a collective to reinstate Matauranga Maori into health and non health services.

Kia ora e te whānau,

Our Tūporeariki Wānanga at Hinerupe Marae planned for this Friday has been postponed due to the tangi for Matua Bo.
We have been advised that the marae is being called upon to hold space for the army so they can attend the tangi. We will look to secure new dates in the near future and will share an update as soon as we can.

He nui tō mātou aroha ki te whānau pani. Kia hoki ngā wairua ki tua o te ārai.

There is a lot being carried right now . The floods. The cleanup. The rising costs. The pressure of it all. It can feel like we’re moving through Te Pō alone. But even in Te Pō, there is always a hīnātore.
Tūporeariki is a our healing pop up wānanga to bring us together, to kōrero, to reconnect with ourselves, with each other, and with our pūrākau.

Funded by Ngati Porou Oranga, for everyone.

Kai is provided.

You don’t have to have it all together. Just come as you are.

Nau mai, haere mai ki Hinerupe Marae.
