Our amazing volunteer crew will be at the Arc'teryx Routeburn Classic all afternoon, serving some absolutely beautiful food thanks to the support of the wonderful folks at McKibbon’s of Royalburn, Whitestone Cheese and European Bakery Queenstown. The sun is shining and the competitors are smashing it, so why not take a drive down to cheer them on and grab some lunch while you’re at it?

Well, Quiz Night 2025 is officially OVER! And who knew we had such an intelligent group of people here in Glenorchy? These questions will have to get a bit harder next year!

A MASSIVE thank-you to all the participants and sponsors. Together we have raised just over $3500 for the Lakeside Community Centre project, and we couldn't have done it without your help! We look forward to doing it all again next year.

We are two-thirds of the way through our annual quiz night series, and WOW! The teams have been on fire, the raffle tickets have been selling like hotcakes, and we are on track to smash last years total funds raised. Thank you so much to The Glenorchy Hotel for sponsoring the winners' prizes (and your lovely staff for working so hard!) and to Mrs Woolly's General Store and The Headwaters Eco Lodge for donating our amazing weekly raffle prizes.

A number of incredible local business have already pledged some amazing prizes to be awarded on our final night, so do not miss out! And if you or your business would also like to donate a prize for one of our teams who have been turning out night after night to support us, please get in touch! We want everyone who has come out in support of the Lakeside Community Centre to walk away feeling like a winner 🏆

What an awesome day had by all! Great to have some new faces on the BBQ and the vibes were excellent at yesterday's Arc'teryx Routeburn Classic! Thanks to the organizers for having us, and big thanks to European Bakery Queenstown, Whitestone Cheese, and McKibbon’s of Royalburn for supplying us with food to serve some very hungry runners! With your support we raised over $4200 towards the Lakeside Community Centre Project! Yeehaw!

We're always on the hunt for more helping hands. If you are keen to get involved at our next fundraiser please don't hesitate to drop us a line - whether you have one hour to spare or want to get on board for the long-haul, we'd love to have you along for the ride 😀

We’re ready for a big day at the Arc'teryx Routeburn Classic!

Whether you’re competing, spectating, or just headed up for a day on the Routeburn track we’ve got lunchtime covered.

Massive thanks to Whitestone Cheese, European Bakery Queenstown, and McKibbon’s of Royalburn for supplying the food, and the Glenorchy PTFA for lending us your gear!

What a ripper of a day! Thank you to the Lakeside Rugby Club for hosting another GY Races for the books.

If you came to buy a sausage or have a yarn with one of our lovely volunteers, we would like to thank you for helping us to fundraise over $2200 for the Lakeside ECE & Community Centre Project. Every little bit goes a long way towards helping us towards our goals.

And an extra special thank you to all the volunteers who came out to give up their time on race day to help make it happen. We really couldn't do it without you!
