Congratulations to the exceptional four women who set the 8-hour, 4-stand strong wool lamb record at Melrose Station, near Owaka in South Otago on 20th January - 1,938 lambs shorn.

Te Atakura Crawford (530), Ariana Te Whata (504), Pagan Rimene (481), and Rose Lewis (423).

Two evenings on from the record being set it will be sinking in what a huge achievement they have all achieved; not just a world record but a first for the industry, paving the way and likely inspiring many other women to aim high and follow in their footsteps in the future.

Back in the game!

It’s been just shy of two years since a concussion which saw me closing the Rural Works clinic in Taupo so it is an exciting day to be getting the tools out again!

What better way to get back into things than supporting Pagan Rimene at the Women’s four stand strong wool lamb 8 hour world record on 20th January.

It’s going to be an absolute cracker few days!

The name 'Move to Wool' is a double entendre.

We produce MOVEment products made with WOOL.

And we are passionate about seeing a future where New Zealand wool products are chosen and valued by all. So we are encouraging people to make the conscious choose to ‘MOVE to WOOL.' We hope to see a day where buying wool products (instead of their synthetic counterparts) is 'the natural choice.'
