West Coast Ear Nurse Clinic

West Coast Ear Nurse Clinic is locally owned and solely operated by Jo Spargo Registered Nurse. An additional cost may apply.

The West Coast Ear Nurse Clinic will "pop up" anyway from Karamea to Haast to enable communities to have equal opportunities to access this service. The pop up clinics will be offered in distant areas depending on the need. Appointment times are flexibly and negotiable to suit you! On Thursday nights in Greymouth we are open until 8pm. If it's physically impractical for you to come to us for whatever reason, then talk to us about coming out to you! If you have a child who appears to be tugging at their ears a lot or you just want there ears checked, we happily see children from 1 years up. If you like to Twitter, Instagram, YouTube or Facebook, you are welcome to bring a friend to record that momentous moment of possibly having a rather large piece of ear wax removed from your ear canal. Let us know then that special someone will be offered an Ear check for $20. If your loved one is in a private or residential home and it's not easy for them or you to come to us, then we will come to you. Group bookings will help reduce the cost. If you want a friendly, private service by a clinically competent and knowledgeable professional, then the West Coast Ear Nurse Clinic is for you.

2025 brings a New Year and new ventures!
I have been offered a new job which was too good to turn down!
Next week is the final week for the West Coast Ear Nurse Clinic!
Negotiations have already started with my new employer to conduct Micro-suction so fingers crossed!

I would like to thank everyone for their ongoing support, especially my regulars who I will miss sincerely. The last two and a half years have been very rewarding and I leave with no regrets.
This has been a very difficult post so I will keep it short and sweet!
Thank you it's been a pleasure.

Micro-suction is available at Westland Medical Centre, Coastal Health Ltd in Greymouth. Lastly, a lovely lady Heather RN is based in Greymouth 021-234-9051. Unfortunately no one in Westport or Reefton does micro-suction only water irrigation - which must be conducted by a Registered Nurse.

My last clinic dates are as follows.

Thank you all for your patience and kind wishes while I have been away. I've had quite a time over the last couple of months! Major wrist surgery and a change to my personal circumstances which has impacted the way I can work.
I will continue single handily running this business but I also have another job!
I'm opening on Monday 16th September to Thursday 19th September to take bookings only. I will post prior letting you all know when my clinics are.
