Ann-Sophie Salomez came to us after years of failed dieting. She had tried many different approaches such as keto, paleo, and intermittent-fasting but had found them all hard to sustain for long periods of time. She also had some major objectives to improve her body composition (gain muscle mass, and reduce fat mass), whilst training for both the Oxfam Trailwalker 50km and Taupo Ultra 50km.

After recommending that she added comprehensive resistance training to her schedule, we put together a periodised macronutrient intake for her to follow. Not only was this designed to meet her individualised needs, but it also fitted around the foods and drinks she liked to consume!

Ann-Sophie also chose to sign up for our 12-Week Block Support package to help her stay accountable to the process.

As a result she was able to drop 2 kg of body mass, with a corresponding reduction of 30 mm in skinfolds! Ann-Sophie also reported that by learning appropriate portioning for the foods and drinks she liked to eat that she was more satisfied with her diet, and felt more confident in adhering in the long term! She also commented that having the weekly catch-up as part of the support package was vital in keeping her on track and continuing to make good decisions throughout the block!
