We’ve been working on something secret behind the scenes for a few weeks now, and we’re almost ready to share it with you!

First things first though, we have a new website coming!

Our new website is full of all the books you love, lots of new features you’ve asked for (filter by author alphabetically anyone? 👀) AND a brand new range of things yet to come 🤭

To make the changeover, our website will be offline from Monday night until the book drop on Tuesday - so check back to see the new look on Tuesday at 8pm!

Happy !

Last night we uploaded over 100 kids and YA books including our preloved picture book bundles.

With so many new books added to the website it can be hard to choose which ones to buy so we thought we would share some of our favourites from the drop.

We’ve got box sets and books about space, as well as books dragons of Deltora and minecraft mobs, and even some picture books about Christmas (which is somehow less than 50 days away?!)

On top of all these incredible reads we’ve got a book for kids who want to learn how to make their pocket money set them up for future financial success.

You can find all these kids and YA books and so many more on the website now.

✨ Pre-Loved Picture Book Advent Bundle ✨

Enjoy a cosy countdown to Christmas with our new picture book advent bundles! 🎄

Each pack includes 6 secondhand picture books, beautifully wrapped and ready to open each night in the lead up to Christmas. Every bundle is unique, and is a sustainable alternative to traditional advent calendars, with stories that can be enjoyed again and again throughout the year.

Because these books have been read and loved before, they may have creases, inscriptions, or names written inside - but nothing that gets in the way of the joy of opening and reading the stories together.

We want to encourage families to take a moment in the busy season to read together, as well as spark conversations around sustainability and gift giving - because not everything needs to be shiny and new to be meaningful.

For example, did you know many wrapping papers contains plastic making them unable to be recycled? That’s why we’ve stuck with simple, recyclable brown paper wrapping for these, making them an awesome zero-waste gift ♻️

We have a limited number of picture book advent packs going up on the website tonight as part of our November Kid’s Book Drop, so you can find these and nearly 100 new kid’s and young adult books online at 8pm.

We weren’t kidding when we said we had a jam packed November for you - starting with a Kid’s Drop tomorrow night, and ending with the fifth annual Five Book Drops of Christmas! 🎄

We’ll share everything you need to know before each event, but for now, get these dates in your diary so you won’t miss out!

Happy Wednesday! The sun is out, my current book is great, and we have some exciting things planned for the next few weeks - life is good ☀️

We have so many amazing books on the website at the moment, including these new additions this week.

I thoroughly enjoyed Sorrow and Bliss, Ghosts and the Seven Sisters, but there are a few here from my TBR too!

You know it’s going to be a great Tuesday Book Drop when I have to use two photos to show it all off!

After a restorative week off last week, we’re back with one of our biggest book drops in a while, filled with our usual assortment of recent releases and favourite reads.

Moses here, hijacking our social media to wish Anne-Marie the biggest of Happy Birthdays! 🥳 🎉

As is tradition, the day was filled with books and treats - so swipe to see her birthday book haul, as well as a fun new hobby that can be done from bed on those low energy days 🖼️

What an incredible result! 🙌

Thanks to your book purchases in October, and some super generous donations, we raised $545 for during Dogtober!

We smashed our goal of $300, nearly doubling last years donation, and took out the number one spot on the teams leaderboard (and number two overall!) 🏆

This is one of those monthly fundraisers that’s so personal to me, having been lucky enough to have my own Mobility Dog Brody by my side for over four years now 🦮

We’re back from a lovely few days away this week, made up of the perfect little holiday/reading retreat 💕

We were lucky enough to have a few days off to read and rest before the busy end of the year, spoilt with the comfiest reading chairs I’ve ever sat in, and the best views rain or shine (or epic lightning and thunderstorm!)

Sadly there’s no such thing as time off from illness/disability, but it’s so nice to get away, even if it is just to spend time in a different bed with a new (and spectacular!) view.

We’re now ready to jump into a jam packed November, with so many new things to share this month, as well as the best week of the year - The Five Book Drops of Christmas coming at the end of the month! 📚🎄

A quick note to say there will be no book drop tomorrow, as we’re taking a small break before the busyness that is November and December 😌

Our website will still be open for book orders, but everything will be shipped on the 30th.

We’ve got a jam packed November planned with a whole heap of new stuff to come, so we promise it will be worth the wait!
