What a special day in Wellington as Jono Ridler completed his incredible Swim4TheOcean journey. Thank you to everyone who came along to support Jono and be part of the day. The atmosphere was something really special, with so much encouragement, energy and support from the crowd. It made for a memorable finish and a fitting celebration of everything this journey stood for.

Jono Ridler has made it to Wellington!!🎉Since departing Waikuku Beach, North Cape on 5 January, Jono has made it to the Whairepo Lagoon. On his journey, Jono has faced swarms of jellyfish, swam in sharky waters, experienced sunburn, salt tongue and dropping temperatures – and powered through it all to carry the important call to end bottom trawling.

Congratulations Jono and the team on this incredible swim and journey. We have Westview Aluminium at the Whairepo Lagoon with some giveaways for the community.

We are proud witness this incredible swim and to be a supporter Jono and Live Ocean.
