2023 Special Needs Education Grants

Tūwharetoa Māori Trust Board, Tūwharetoa Settlement Trust or Ngāti Tūwharetoa Fisheries Charitable Trust work together to fund and deliver education grants for registered Tūwharetoa students with special needs.

To qualify for this grant the applicant must:

👆 Be registered with the trusts delivering this grant
👆 Provide a letter from their doctor/teacher confirming their disability
👆 Be enrolled in an educational institution in Aotearoa

Waikato-Tainui is proud to invite whaanau to register for ‘Tooku Nei Whaare – Home Ownership Zoom Workshops’🏠

These FREE Online Workshops will be run over two consecutive evenings via Zoom.

Each evening will be approx. 1.5-2 hours max in length (totaling 3-4 hours of learning) and all attendees will receive a PDF copy of Waikato-Tainui’s specially commissioned Home Ownership Booklet prior to attending.

Specially trained facilitators will take whaanau through an overview of the home ownership spectrum, from techniques on saving money for a deposit all the way to signing sale and purchase agreements.
