Nature gives us everything we need to restore our energy.

Across cultures and traditions, natural elements have been used not only for their physical benefits, but for their subtle ability to shift how we feel, think, and connect.

We’re grateful every day for this beautiful forest on family land, where our kawakawa grows wild beneath the trees. Every leaf is picked with care, never rushed, never more than we need. It’s a slow, thoughtful process, guided by respect for the land and everything it gives.

Our kawakawa goes from forest floor to your hands with nothing added and nothing taken away. No sprays, no shortcuts. Just the healing of the wild, safe for every family.

When you use our balms, you’re not just caring for yourself, you’re sharing in a story that starts beneath the canopy, continues with gentle hands, and comes full circle when we give back to the land that gives us.

As the pre-launch orders come in, and I find myself carefully packaging each one, I can’t help but pause and reflect.

Every balm I wrap isn’t just a product, it’s a piece of a much bigger vision. A quiet milestone. A moment I’ve dreamed of for a long time.

These first orders mean more than I can say. They represent belief, not just in what I’m creating, but in the healing power of nature, in slowing down, and in reconnecting with the land and ourselves.

Behind the Balm — A One-Person Journey

This photo isn’t just a balm, it’s a moment of reflection.

In the early stages of Healu, I knocked on a lot of doors that didn’t open. So, I went back to scratch. Literally. I studied natural health, researched our native plants, and slowly began developing each product from the ground up.

No team, no shortcuts. Just hours of learning, testing, and refining.
From formulation to label design, from branding to building the website. It’s been a one-person journey driven by passion and purpose.

We’ll be going live with our first two Healu creations very soon! and from here, we’re continuing to grow and expand, with future product development involving you, our Healu community.

Healu is more than a brand. It’s my commitment to reconnecting people with the healing power of nature, and to show what’s possible when you back yourself and keep going.
