Looking back on 2025 — Futsal Whites 🇳🇿
2025 was my first year as Futsal Whites Physio.
A busy season with 12 matches across 3 countries, each tour bringing its own challenges and learning opportunities.
The group gained valuable experience against high-quality opposition — lessons that will carry into 2026.
As a physio, it was a privilege to be part of the environment, and just as importantly, a chance to reflect, refine, and raise the standard for future tours.

Looking back on 2025
The Futsal SuperLeague was a rollercoaster of a season. From the highs of captaining the Rapids and earning my 50th cap, to the challenges of managing my own injury and working hard to be fit for the playoffs, it was a year full of ups and downs. We ultimately fell short in the final, finishing in second place.
It was a season of near-misses for the Rapids, who also went on to finish runners-up at the OFC Champions League later in the year. The Women’s team likewise had a strong campaign, finishing second in their SuperLeague.
Head 2 Toe Physiotherapy looks forward to the year ahead, continuing to provide physiotherapy support to the team.

Alex delivered an outstanding season as physio for Melville United in 2025.
Smart load management and tailored exercises kept injuries to a minimum — and the team earned promotion with a goal in the final kick of the season. 💪⚽

Looking back on 2025:
Head 2 Toe Physiotherapy was proud to be a sponsor of Northern United Sports Club. The club enjoyed a successful season, with the Women’s top team winning the league and the Men’s team taking out the Shield. It was a privilege to represent the club as a player and to provide physiotherapy support to the wider club throughout 2025.

Happy New Year from Head 2 Toe Physiotherapy!
We hope everyone had a safe and enjoyable Christmas period. We were delighted to welcome our daughter, Isabella, to our family just in time for Christmas 💕
Looking ahead to 2026, the clinic will reopen on 12 January, and we look forward to seeing you then.
As we count down to reopening, we’ll be looking back on some of the memorable moments from 2025 throughout this week.

Our clinic will be closed from 25 December and will reopen on 12 January.

During this time, Alex will be away with the NZ Lacrosse team, and Elliot will be awaiting the arrival of his first child. For this reason, the clinic will be closed over the holiday period.

We wish everyone a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable holiday season and look forward to seeing you all in the new year

It was a pleasure to be the official physiotherapists at the inaugural Bayleys Tennis Open in Hamilton. A competitive ITF tournament with some talented players on show. Special mention to the men's singles Winner, and the Women's singles runner up. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting you both and providing support where we could. We look forward to doing it all again next year.

8th September – Happy World Physiotherapy Day! 🌍💪
A great reminder of the importance of staying active for your health and wellbeing.

I started the day with a morning run 🏃‍♂️ before heading straight into a big day as physio with the Futsal Whites in their hard-fought game against Indonesia. Proud to support the team and promote the role of physiotherapy in keeping athletes (and everyone!) moving well.
