A 70-year-old Taiwanese female immigrant presented with long-term issues of urinary incontinence, abdominal laxity, and spleen–stomach deficiency, which significantly affected her daily quality of life.

Using Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Body Shaping & Spleen–Stomach Regulation techniques,
Professor Fung achieved:

👉 Noticeable improvement in urinary leakage within 10 minutes
👉 Improved abdominal support and core stability
👉 The patient reported a clear lifting sensation in the lower abdomen and increased confidence

This case demonstrates that TCM body shaping is not merely about slimming, but about restoring functional balance of the middle jiao and pelvic support system.

Many cases of sciatica are not simply a matter of “needle where it hurts.”

In clinical practice, my primary focus is whether the zang-fu organs are balanced, whether Qi and Blood are flowing correctly, and whether the meridians are truly open.

Through Pulse Balance diagnosis, the first step is to identify the root of the Qi–Blood imbalance.

Treatment begins by regulating the pulse directly not chasing symptoms.

When organ function is restored and Qi and Blood begin to move smoothly, pain that was previously trapped in the meridians naturally releases.

This patient presented with left-sided sciatic pain.
The treatment strategy did not rely on local stimulation alone, but on rebuilding systemic Qi–Blood circulation through pulse regulation.

Many chronic pain cases fail to resolve not because treatment is too weak, but because the initial direction is incorrect.

True, stable, and sustainable pain relief always comes from restoring balance in the pulse.

🔍 In this public webinar, we will clearly examine three key questions:

1️⃣ Why are “immediate results” often short-lived?

You will understand that:

• Classical Tan Balance Acupuncture emphasises
immediate clinical responses through opening pathways
• This is exactly why it is powerful and widely respected
• But “immediate effect” does not automatically mean “lasting effect”

2️⃣ Why does pain return even after the pathways are open?

You will see that:

• Meridians determine whether flow can occur
• What determines duration is the qi and blood supply capacity
• Without sufficient supply, pathways can only function temporarily

This explains why:

→ some patients stabilise after immediate relief
→ while others repeatedly return to baseline

3️⃣ How can immediate results be transformed into longer-lasting outcomes?

In this session, I will walk through a complete clinical case and examine together with you:

• Where results plateau when only pathways are treated
• What changes occur after pulse-based regulation is added
• Why effects begin to sustain once supply is restored

After Immediate Results, Why Don’t They Last?

— From the “instant effect” of Tan Balance Acupuncture
to the “sustained effect” of Pulse Balance Acupuncture (PBA)

📣

Have you experienced this in clinical practice?

• Pain drops immediately under the needle
• The body feels open, loose, and comfortable
• But hours, or one or two days later, the pain slowly returns

You already know —
this does not mean the method failed.
It means the effect stopped at the “immediate-response level.”

Many treatments:

→ are not ineffective
→ they simply stop at the level of immediate response

2️⃣ Why does pain return even after the pathways are open?

You will see that:

• Meridians determine whether flow can occur
• What determines duration is the qi and blood supply capacity
• Without sufficient supply, pathways can only function temporarily

This explains why:

→ some patients stabilise after immediate relief
→ while others repeatedly return to baseline

3️⃣ How can immediate results be transformed into longer-lasting outcomes?

In this session, I will walk through a complete clinical case
and examine together with you:

• Where results plateau when only pathways are treated
• What changes occur after pulse-based regulation is added
• Why effects begin to sustain once supply is restored

👉 Pulse Balance Acupuncture (PBA)
does not replace Tan Balance Acupuncture.
It completes the part that was not originally emphasised.

🧠 Core Statement

Immediate results are the starting point, not the endpoint.

What determines the length of clinical effect
is not how fast you open the road,
but whether the body has the capacity to keep moving.

Not Frozen Shoulder, Yet You Have Shoulder Pain, Clicking, and Limited Movement?

The real problem may not be in the “shoulder” itself.

This is a real experience with my own right shoulder.

I used to have persistent right shoulder pain, discomfort during movement, and even clicking sounds.

Under YiChen’s remote guidance, I began practicing her “Straight-Shoulder Structural Training Method.”

After consistent practice:

✔ Shoulder pain significantly reduced
✔ The joint felt extremely comfortable after each session
✔ Daily arm movements became much smoother

Even more obvious changes happened with my younger brother

He had a typical forward scapula & shoulder impingement pattern, accompanied by:
• Partial scapular subluxation
• Swelling and compression
• Limited shoulder mobility
• Difficulty lifting the arm with clear clicking sounds

After consistently following YiChen’s shoulder structural training:

👉 Scapular alignment visibly corrected
👉 Shoulder clicking improved by about 70%
👉 Shoulder mobility significantly restored
👉 Structural changes were clearly visible

If you or your clients experience:
• Recurrent shoulder pain
• Shoulder clicking
• Rounded shoulders or asymmetry
• No results despite repeated training

This system is truly worth exploring.

🌿 Dr. Pan Says:When Qi Arrives, the Pulse Rises and Symptoms Begin to Change

In clinical practice, Dr. Pan often reminds us of one simple truth:
👉 “When the Qi arrives, healing begins.”

The arrival of Qi (De Qi) does not rely on just one method.

✨ It can come through massage
✨ through acupuncture
✨ or through herbal medicine

As long as the approach is correct and Qi–Blood is truly activated, the pulse will respond and symptoms often start to ease right at that moment.

Many people think treatment must be strong or intense to work.

But the real key is:

✔ Has the Qi arrived?
✔ Has the pulse changed?
✔ Has the body responded?

When circulation is restored,
the body knows how to heal itself.

If you’d like to understand more about:
• What true De Qi really is
• How different methods can raise the pulse
• Why symptoms change once Qi arrives

Stay connected and keep following, there’s so much more to explore together.

Today’s focus returns to the true foundation of TCM aesthetics: pulse regulation.

Using the Four-Position Pulse Diagnosis,we identified the core constitutional pattern: Liver Qi stagnation with Spleen deficiency.

Treatment followed a clear internal-to-external logic:

🔹 Pulse-based diagnosis to define deficiency and excess
🔹 Facial micro-needling into ligament and fascial layers
🔹 Tonifying and reducing guided by pulse response
🔹 Internal regulation to soothe the Liver and strengthen the Spleen

✨ Immediate pulse response
✨ Visible facial lifting
✨ Qi and blood rising naturally to the face

Acupuncture regulation in advanced-stage lung cancer
is not about treating symptoms alone, but about restoring overall balance and regulatory capacity of the body.

In clinical practice, the goal of acupuncture
is to support the body’s internal regulation,
improve qi and blood circulation,
and enhance overall tolerance and function.

This is a real clinical case,
shared for learning and professional reference.

More clinical cases will be shared to support
clear thinking and practical application in practice.
