We are a general practice aiming to provide quality healthcare for all patients, with an emphasis on health education and preventative medicine. Health screening and promotion are priorities for us as a major aim is to work in partnership with our patients to prevent disease, reduce disability and to maintain their health. We work with the local business community to provide pre-employment and continuing health checks, minor accident and vaccination services for workers. We also provide a local phlebotomy (blood service) agency. With about 7,500 patients enrolled, you know that South City Health is a reliable and trustworthy practice providing a wide range of health services to meet your needs. We have spacious and well-maintained facilities with plenty of off-street parking to make it easy and comfortable when you visit us. Our centre also includes a Pharmacy, Dentist, Beauty clinic, Podiatrist and Counselling solutions, so you can get a wide range of services in one place, including physio across the road in Alison St.

To be successful in this role you will need to be:
• Experienced in General Practice (minimum 2 years)
• A Current vaccinator
• A Cervical smear taker
• Diabetes trained
• Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• The ability to be a self-starter and work within recommended guidelines.
• A team player with a cheerful disposition & great attention to detail
The hours can be negotiable with an immediate start. Applicants must be NZ citizen or permanent resident and hold a current Annual Practicing Certificate.

As of last night Waikato's level 3 has been extended again until Wednesday night. Still as before we are still open and available for consults - please contact Reception

Level 3 for another 5 days until Tuesday 19, with a review on Monday 18th October

Dr appointments remain via phone or video, until the Dr advises they need to see you in person. Patient booked in clinic appointments will resume in Level 2.

Please keep in touch, if you can pay online please do so instead of coming in to the clinic

If you require a swab we can do these, please call the nurses to book a time.

As always WE ARE STILL OPEN, Level 3 for South City Health means our doors are closed, but you can still have appointments with our Drs via phone or video and if they need to see you in person they will.
Some Nurse appointments can still go ahead...
