Old Baliao or New Baliao? Don’t answer yet, most practitioners get this wrong. 👀

The Baliao points are widely used for low back, sacral, and pelvic issues.

But here’s the thing, the “old” Baliao works locally, while the “new” Baliao integrates Yin–Yang hand-foot balance and pelvic structure correction.

👉 This shift means not just fast pain relief, but also longer-lasting stability.

It’s a structural plus energetic upgrade, and it changes how you see the sacrum forever.

In this video, I demonstrated one of the most misunderstood needle techniques.

Can you tell whether I used the old or the new Baliao?

One of the Effects of Acupuncture on the Body’s Systems:

Influence on the Body’s Defensive Function
1. Acupuncture enhances the body’s defensive function.
Studies have shown that acupuncture can increase the number of white blood cells, strengthen the phagocytic function of the reticuloendothelial system, and accelerate antibody production — thereby improving the body’s immune response.
2. Acupuncture improves non-specific immunity.
It activates the reticuloendothelial system, enhances its ability to engulf bacteria and foreign substances, and increases serum lysozyme activity and complement function, thus strengthening overall body defense.
3. Acupuncture also promotes specific immune responses.
It stimulates antibody formation, increases the weight and activity of immune organs such as the spleen, thymus, and lymph nodes, thereby boosting specific immune capacity.
4. Clinical observations show that:
Acupuncture at certain acupoints — such as Zusanli (ST36), Hegu (LI4), and Quchi (LI11) — can significantly improve patients’ resistance to disease, reduce infections, shorten the course of illness, and promote recovery.

Would You Like to Experience More Energy, & Less Stress & Pain?

Then we may be able to help you. We understand difficult and frustrating pain here at Centre of Balance, and we can offer you a range of effective treatments to suit your needs. From April 11 we will be treating patients from our new room in Duke St Medical Centre in Cambridge on Wednesday and Friday afternoons, as well as our usual hours in Hamilton.

Our practitioners use the remarkable “Dr Tan’s Balance Acupuncture Method, Master Pan Acupuncture Spirit Method, Dr Zhu Scalp Acupuncture, Chinerchi Technique, Trigger Point Technique and Unique Point Massage Technique” to treat a wide range of conditions. We are ACC registered and have a lot of experience in treating pain.

We put great emphasis on getting to the root of the issue rather than simply treating the external manifestations of the problem, the symptoms. Once we remedy the internal imbalance at the root of the problem, harmony is restored to the body and the many symptoms which the imbalance has caused will naturally subside.
