After many years in this field, I’ve seen firsthand that massage and bodywork can shift so much more than just the physical body. The changes aren’t always easy to describe, but they matter — and that knowledge has shaped the way we care for you at Vital Balance.

I’m particular about hiring staff who share this collaborative, mindful approach. That’s why Jay and Nicole bring the same depth of awareness and care to every session, so you always feel supported.

After your session, we can give you a short handout with some simple questions to help you check in with yourself:

Body: How does your body feel — looser, lighter, less tense?
Emotions: Are you calmer or clearer… or have some heavier feelings come up, like sadness, anger, or frustration? All emotions are valid, and noticing them is part of the process.
Grounding: Do you feel more connected to yourself or to something bigger?
Connection: Do you want to be around others, or take time for quiet?

You’re in good, safe, knowledgeable hands — and together, we’ll create a treatment plan that supports the whole of you, not just your muscles.

With all the colds and flus going around, I’m so grateful to everyone who’s stayed home when you’re sick — you’re keeping us healthy too, and we truly appreciate it!

But the reality is, lots of cancellations can hit small businesses like ours pretty hard. If you can’t make it in, here are a few simple ways to support us in the meantime:

- Book ahead or grab a gift voucher — so you have something to look forward to when you’re better.
- Concession packs — pre-purchase treatments at a discount to use later.
- Retail treats — our skincare and self-care goodies are available for pick-up or delivery.
- Show us love online — liking, sharing, and commenting on our posts helps more people find us — and it costs nothing!

And keep an eye out for our 'Same Day Specials' We pop them up every now and then if we've had a few cancellations. So make the most of those spots! We only do a few a week!!
