Introducing Ala Farah, GP & Speaker.

Ala joins us for the second year of Menopause & Mocktails and will be at all the events.

She will be speaking with everyone, each table of ladies, during the night, as will our other seven speakers.

Ala is deeply passionate about supporting patients with their health needs and takes pride in providing them with a space where they feel heard and validated.

Having had her own share of health experiences has deepened her commitment to holistic and lifestyle medicine, with a particular focus on hormonal and metabolic health.

Ala is passionate about the M&M events, as the focus is on raising awareness and education around women’s health, particularly peri-menopause and menopause.

Her practice, Farah Health, is in Hamilton. You can reach Ala on admin@farahhealth.co.nz.

"We, as women, deserve knowledge, empowerment, and the right support when it comes to our beautiful bodies and hormones." - Dr. Ala Farah.

Antenatal classes are a great chance to meet other parents expecting the same time as you and have all your questions answered. You'll learn about the process of birth and ways of overcoming fears about the process. Classes will also help you to feel better prepared for parenting a newborn.

Nurture(d) antenatal classes are comprehensive, interactive, and fun. Classes are kept to a minimum of 6 couples, helping you to establish relationships and feel comfortable to contribute and ask questions.

Hear from guest speakers, including a women's health physio, a personal trainer, and a birth doula. We'll also tour the birth and postnatal rooms at River Ridge East Birth Centre.

"Ainsley is full of knowledge and practical tips that can be applied through labour and the newborn stage. I feel 100% more confident after taking her antenatal classes. More prepared and ready to tackle the joy and challenges of being a new mama."
- Margie & Steve
