Join me on Friday, January 16, for a pregnancy movie & social night at River Ridge East Birth Centre to watch an amazing documentary following the childbirth experience of 10 women across the globe.

The births happen within 48 hours, but they couldn't be more different - influenced by cultural norms and beliefs about pregnancy and childbirth.

"The First Cry" is a 2007 documentary by Gilles de Maistre. The film is in French, with English subtitles - but there are much more images than words. 1h40m.

When: January 16, Friday
Time: 6 pm - 8:30 pm
Where: River Ridge East Birthing Centre, Hamilton East, 35 Puutikitiki St

Bring a plate to share.
Entry is $5 to cover the venue costs.
