As we reach the coldest part of the year, it’s important to prioritise your health and wellbeing. Winter often brings an increase in respiratory illnesses, fatigue, and seasonal viruses.

Here are a few simple but effective ways to stay well this season:

Keep warm and dry, especially indoors

Maintain a balanced diet and stay hydrated

Practise regular hand hygiene

Rest and recover if you're feeling unwell

Seek medical advice early if symptoms worsen

Flu vaccinations are still available and strongly recommended especially for vulnerable groups. If you haven't had yours yet, please contact us to make a booking.

Let’s stay healthy together this flu season!

A yearly flu vaccine is recommended for everyone over 6 months old. It is free if you are aged 65 and over, if you are pregnant, and for lots of other people.

We will be moving into level 2 on Thursday 14th of May. Although we have kept our services open during the lock down, we are happy to have some of our loved staff back from next week.
We have been working hard to ensure that our flu vaccines are stocked, and that our GP hours are maximised so all our patients can find a suitable appointment time. You may still utilise our phone consult option, and order repeat scripts through Manage My Health.

Please don't hesitate to call reception if you are experiencing any of the Covid-19 symptoms, including dry cough, sore throat, runny nose, high temperature. We can have one our GP's do a free Covid swab to ensure your safety.

We are proud of our nation for dealing with this pandemic as we have, and manage to get to level 2.

Good afternoon all!
With alert level three starting on Tuesday the 28th of April, we assure you that our practice will be running business as usual. You are welcome to come to an appointment, get your flu jab, request repeat scripts, and all other services. We do recommend that you stay home and request a phone consult if applicable, and please let reception know if you have any of the covid-19 symptoms.

Our new consultation room is all renovated and ready for use 👏 be sure to call in and book an appointment with any one of our doctors! We also have our female doctor working during the day alongside our usual doctor schedule after lockdown is over!

Good morning everyone ☀️ Hope you’re all doing well as we are making our way through this isolation period. A remind that we are still open during our normal hours and our doctors are working hard to make sure virtual consults are running as smoothly as possible. Be sure to call Rebecca and Schehera at reception if you have any questions! Our nurse Janice is working extra hard to ensure that all patients are getting their flu jabs this year ($29 unless patient has certain underlying health conditions).

With alert level 4 starting tonight we hope you are all prepared, stay safe, keep in touch with loved ones, and most importantly stay healthy!
We will be open throughout the isolation period, however heavily endorse opting for a phone/video call consultation. We will only be giving flu vaccines to those who show NO flu like symptoms or covid-19 symptoms. Call reception if you are unsure.
I want to give a huge thank you to the RFHC team for coming into work with a positive attitude and taking care of our community 💓
