How’s that New Year resolution about getting fitter going?

Still going strong or do you need some help to get it on track?

I am looking for 8 to 10 women aged 35 to 50 who are looking to make a change and get real results.

I am offering 10 weeks of 1 on 1 personal training at a ridiculous cost (and I mean crazy silly ridiculous) to help you to kick start and then maintain that fitness journey.

Life is a beautiful thing which should be enjoyed. Don't spend all your time worrying about the thoughts of others, stressing over the little things which don't matter or that you have no power over. Don't spend your time comparing yourself with others and most importantly don't act like someone you are not - especially not to please others or appease their point of view.

Love yourself and enjoy your time. Give love to those who deserve your love and don't give energy to those who want to make you feel bad about yourself or those who drain you (aka The Energy Vampires).

It's great when the rest of the world catches up with something that you have been preaching for nearly 10 years.
SNAXERCISE has always been my message to my clients and to those who tell me they don't have time to exercise (don't even get me started on that little excuse).

I recently read resolutions last on average less than 3 weeks so why waste yiu time on them, instead set small goals and knock them down... And then set another.

Do I like New Year Resolutions? The easy answer is No,success doesnt come because of one day of the year, success comes from taking action and being consistant in your daily routines. In the same way that healthy eating doesnt have to start on monday, making a change doesnt have to start on New Years day.

I always think of New Years Day as a day to take a moment to pause, reflect and make plans for the future. But, if you are a Resolutionary, here are a couple of things to think about...

1) Break it down
Its great to have a big goal to achieve but break it down ionto smaller goals. Having a small goal to achieve as part of your bigger plan means that you are more likely to achieve it and therefore stay on track. Without those little targets you will lose heart and fall off the wagon.

2) Don't Plan Wholesale Changes.
Sadly, you cant change everything you dont like overnight. You can't just flick a switch and stop smoking,eat better, drink more water and exercise - to try will become overwhelming and you will lose faith in yourself. Pick one and work at it before moving onto the next, there is nothing to stop you from drinking more water whilst trying to give up smoking but just dont try change everything at once. And remember, one bad day where you slip into old habits doesnt mean you have failed, just look at why you slipped and move forward.

And don't put the pressure on yourself, if you want to make a change but don't know how or can't on the 1st of January it's ok. Change doesnt just happen on the start of the year, it happens when you make the decision to change, put that change into an action plan and then set that plan in motion.
