Time for a break – it’s been a MASSIVE but great year!!
✨ Postgraduate Certificate in Midwifery Practice completed! Woohoo!
My geeky side loved diving into the latest research to strengthen evidence-based practice, deepening my understanding of Te Ao Māori, and growing as an official Midwifery Educator.
✨ Teaching undergraduate midwifery students at Wintec - let’s make the world a better place, one midwife at a time.
✨ Supporting many women and babies through Maternity Acupuncture at my weekly clinic based at River Ridge East Birth Centre - helping whānau achieve their optimal pregnancy, birthing and postnatal journey.
✨ Putting the “midwife hat” on during clinical shifts and homebirths, supporting whānau and colleagues - my much-needed oxytocin fix!
✨ Speaking at antenatal classes, sharing kōrero about maternity acupuncture and opening up conversations around safe, effective, drug-free therapy options.
✨ Podcast recording with world-famous Claire Eccleston Midwife and Ingula Rin from Midwives of the Apocalypse - sharing my midwifery experience with Médecins Sans Frontières in Africa. Watch this space for its release on Spotify!

✨ Hosting a Maternity Acupuncture stall at the NZ College of Midwives National Conference – great to connect with so many midwives from across the motu
✨ Becoming a Citizen of Aotearoa New Zealand - only took 18 years… 😂
✨ And last but most importantly: being fully present with my two amazing kiddos and incredible partner- you guys are THE BESTEST ❤️
Now it’s time for a big iced latte and that nap I’ve been dreaming of.
