Spring is in the air, and it's the perfect time to check in and make sure we are taking care of ourselves! ✨

Here are our top tips:

Move daily: Shake off those winter cobwebs! Whether it's a brisk walk, a gentle stretch, or a full workout, finding joy in movement helps boost your mood and energy.

Stay hydrated: As the weather warms up, remember to sip on water throughout the day. Your body will thank you for keeping it well-hydrated!

Get Outside: Sunshine and fresh air are natural mood lifters! Spend some time in nature, whether it's gardening, a walk in the park, or just enjoying your morning coffee outdoors.

Prioritise rest: Spring can be busy, but don't forget the power of good rest. Quality sleep helps your body repair and recharge, so you can tackle your day feeling refreshed.

Connect with Others: Reach out to friends, family, or your community. Social connections are vital for our mental and emotional well-being.

Listen to Your Body: Pay attention to what your body is telling you. If you're feeling a persistent ache or a ni**le that won't go away it's a good idea to seek professional advice. Our team is here to help you get back to feeling your best

Expecting a baby and curious about newborn sleep? 💤

Our NDC-informed antenatal class, led by Kirstie, offers a realistic, evidence-based approach to infant sleep. It’s not about routines or sleep training. It’s about understanding how babies sleep, why they wake, and how to support them in a way that’s gentle and developmentally appropriate.

Have you been told to drink plenty of water after your treatment?

After your session, circulation and drainage improve to support healing and muscle recovery. Drinking plenty of water helps this process and can reduce soreness or stiffness.

Good hydration also helps your body respond better to treatment, making the benefits last longer.

Quick tip: Aim to drink at least 1–2 glasses of water in the hours following your session, and keep sipping throughout the day to stay refreshed and support your recovery. Electrolytes in your water are an added bonus! 🫗

Taking care of yourself after treatment is just as important as the treatment itself.

Every baby is different, and so is every family. That’s why our Baby Wellbeing Appointments follow the gentle, evidence-based Neuroprotective Developmental Care (NDC) approach, also known as the Possums program.

NDC is a worldwide shift in early life care that supports your baby’s developing brain, gut, immune system, and stress response during those critical first months.

This approach looks at feeding, sleep, settling, sensory needs, and parent wellbeing, all working together so we provide care tailored to you and your baby. 💙
