We are proud to be a collection point for unwanted glasses and cases. Thanks to your support, we have just been able to donate 20 pairs to Ella - who is taking them to help people in the Cook Islands.

If you have any you no longer need, feel free to drop them in at reception. Every pair can make a difference.

A great milestone for Hanmer Springs! Work is now underway on our new emergency helipad, strengthening emergency care for our community. 🚁 Thank you Hanmer Springs Community Trust and our wonderful community for making this become a reality.

🚁🚁 Today is a very exciting day for us at the Trust and Hanmer Springs Health Centre . The construction of the Helipad has begun. 🤗

💚 We're proud to partner with Gumboot Friday! 💚

Gumboot Friday is doing incredible mahi providing mental health support and that's something we care deeply about too.

Hanmer Springs Health Centre as a provider of a Rural Adult ADHD service, know how important it is for rural communities to be able to access the right support at the right time. We are so glad to be part of an initiative that's working to make that a reality for more New Zealanders.

If you haven't heard of Gumboot Friday before, head to their website to learn more about the amazing work they do.

Gumboot Friday is an initiative created by I AM HOPE to provide FREE kids counselling in a timely manner. Your support keeps our youth in conversation. Over 120,000 Therapy Sessions delivered to Young Kiwis since 2019.

💉 Flu Vaccinations Starting Thursday 9 April at Hanmer Springs Health Centre 💉

Flu vaccination season is here and our Flu Clinic will be starting from Thursday 9 April.

If you would like to book in, there are two easy ways:

📞 Call our dedicated flu booking number 020 4091 0704 and leave your name and phone number. Our amazing coordinator Kirsty will call you back to arrange a time.

As we head into the colder months, getting your flu vaccine is a simple way to help protect yourself, your whānau and our wider rural community.

🧠✨ As Neurodiversity Celebration Week draws to a close, we want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible strengths and perspectives that neurodivergent people bring to our communities: including the amazing people right here in rural Hurunui! 💡🌿

Neurodiversity Celebration Week is a worldwide movement challenging stereotypes and championing inclusion for people with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other neurological differences.

🎉 Since the exciting legislation changes in February, we have been proud to offer, with the support of the Hanmer Springs Community Trust, an ADHD service for those aged 18 and over.

Rural by rural, because we know what it means to live far from specialist services, and we are committed to changing that for our community.
