π§ β¨ As Neurodiversity Celebration Week draws to a close, we want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible strengths and perspectives that neurodivergent people bring to our communities: including the amazing people right here in rural Hurunui! π‘πΏ
Neurodiversity Celebration Week is a worldwide movement challenging stereotypes and championing inclusion for people with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other neurological differences.
π Since the exciting legislation changes in February, we have been proud to offer, with the support of the Hanmer Springs Community Trust, an ADHD service for those aged 18 and over.
Rural by rural, because we know what it means to live far from specialist services, and we are committed to changing that for our community.
If you or someone you love lives in the Hurunui District and has been wondering about an ADHD assessment or support, we would love to hear from you. π
