Hanmer Springs Health Centre

Hanmer Springs Health Centre Welcome to our Health Centre! We also offer an afterhours service for emergencies when the clinic is closed.

We have two GPs and a team of nurse specialists and practice nurses delivering a vast range of health services to our local community and visitors to the area. Your prescriptions can also be collected here as there is no pharmacy in town.

πŸ‘“ Our community helping others πŸ’›

We are proud to be a collection point for unwanted glasses and cases. Thanks to your support, we have just been able to donate 20 pairs to Ella - who is taking them to help people in the Cook Islands.

If you have any you no longer need, feel free to drop them in at reception. Every pair can make a difference.

🧠✨ As Neurodiversity Celebration Week draws to a close, we want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible strengths and perspectives that neurodivergent people bring to our communities: including the amazing people right here in rural Hurunui! πŸ’‘πŸŒΏ

Neurodiversity Celebration Week is a worldwide movement challenging stereotypes and championing inclusion for people with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other neurological differences.

πŸŽ‰ Since the exciting legislation changes in February, we have been proud to offer, with the support of the Hanmer Springs Community Trust, an ADHD service for those aged 18 and over.

Rural by rural, because we know what it means to live far from specialist services, and we are committed to changing that for our community.

If you or someone you love lives in the Hurunui District and has been wondering about an ADHD assessment or support, we would love to hear from you. πŸ’™
