Welcome equine enthusiasts. Our Equine Therapy facility offers treatment and rehabilitation services for horses recovering from injury, trauma, neglect or horses who have been rejected by mainstream medicine as irrepairable. We have had many success stories over the past 12 years and some of our rescue patients have moved on to successful competition careers. We also offer training for students fr

om all over the world in different bodywork techniques. Many countries offer extensive academic training for students but no hands on practical experience. This we can offer, and many of our students have gone forth and set up their own very successful equine therapy practices in their home countries. We use many forms of complimentary medicine, including homeopathy and herbal support, groundwork rehabilitation using Tellington Touch techniques, and our much loved Electro Acuscope microcurrent unit which has been much better than a magic wand for many chronic and acute clients we have attended. We travel in the North Canterbury area doing home visits for general maintenance and support treatments for sport and racing horses. If its good enough for our top athletes to be attended by physios, and chiros, why not your best friend who gives you hours of pleasure and companionship. Like us they can pull muscles, strain ligaments or have some compensatory problems that cause discomfort. We can help you analyse their problems and offer effective and inexpensive solutions. Rarely do we see a horse that we cannot improve quality of life for.
