It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Amber Rose, who transitioned to te ao wairua at home surrounded by loved ones on 13/05/26.

She will rest at 811 Lawrence St, Ākina.
We welcome those who wish to visit from:
12pm - 7pm Thursday 14th May
9am - 4pm Friday 15th May

A funeral service will be held on Saturday the 16th of May at the Whakatu Hall at 11am.
In Ambers fashion and memory bring along flowers from your garden in jars or buckets to line the hall.

Following the service her burial will be at Oak Meadow urupā located at the Mangaroa cemetery - 90 Mangaroa Rd, Longlands.

Hākari - welcome the whānau pani home to a hākari back at 811 Lawrence St, Ākina at 3:30pm.

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved pou, Myra Mereania Ellmers (Nee Te Huia). Mum passed peacefully this morning surrounded by the loving embrace of her whānau at Eversley Rest Home.

Mum will lay at 1008 Totara Street Mahora, Hastings until Sunday 17th where she will be taken to lay with her darling husband Ryan at Mangaroa Cemetery.

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mama Sapini Faleupolu Filipo (nee Tuivaiti) on Saturday, 9th of May 2026, surrounded by her children, grandchildren and close family members.

Adored mother to Tuigate’i Tiute and Viliamu, Daniel and Angela, Natasha, and Shantaliah.
Cherished Nana to Carlos, Tinei, Devantaye, Arlington, Dallas, Lucy, Henry and Sophie.

Dearest daughter of Tuivaiti Fetaiaimauso and Karoline Tuivaiti, and a much treasured sister and aunty to all.

A special friend to those she worked with over the years.

Our mama is now resting at 316 Flaxmere Avenue, her family and friends are more than welcome to visit. We welcome those wishing to pay their respects at the following times to allow close whānau to spend time with mama:

Scott passed peacefully on Tuesday 5th May 2026, in the gentle care of the staff at Summerset in the Vines, aged 92.
Dearly loved husband of Colleen. Devoted father of Suzanne and John, and daughter-in-law’s Leanne and Susan. Dearly missed grandpa of Joseph and Kara. Fondly remembered by Mavis.

Dearly loved daughter to June & Sam.
Dearly missed granddaughter, sister, family member and friend.

Matalina is currently laying at home her parents house for her final rest. Her tangihanga service will be on Monday 4th of May at 11am at Tim Hutchins Funerals, before a final committal with immediate Whanau. Maureen Nuku (nee Stevens) passed away on 26 April 2026
aged 85 years.

Dearly loved mother of Steve Stevens, Puti Nuku, Gonda Nuku, Teress Nuku, Myka Nuku & Roni Nuku. Wife of Tamihana Nuku.
Grandmother and great grandmother to her many mokopuna.
Maureen is lying at the Nuku Homestead 38 Taihape Road, Ōmāhu for any whānau and friends to come through and say their final farewells.

On Tuesday 28 April 2026 at 2:30pm we will make our way to Hastings Crematorium, 202 Orchard Road, Hastings for a brief farewell at 3pm sharp followed by a scheduled cremation at 3:30pm. Whānau and friends are invited back to 38 Taihape Road, Ōmāhu afterwards for refreshments.
