It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Dad, Koro, Brother & uncle.Thomas George Winitana
Beloved husband of Matawai.

Dad passed away peacefully in his sleep, surrounded by his whanau at home.

Dad will be laying at 65 Latham street. Marewa.

Poroporoaki: Tuesday 31st of March at 7pm

Service for Dad will be held on Wednesday 1st of April.

Hākari will be held first at 12pm, followed by service at 1pm.

Then Dad will take his final journey to Waimārama urupa.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father Faamanatu Alatina Galo.

Our dear father passed into eternal rest with God on the 26th of March 2026.

A father to his children, Masunu, Senemaria and Siale. A beloved brother to his siblings and church members. A dear friend to many, a treasured faiaoga a*o Sā and much more to the Metotisi Hesitini Church.

Our dad, a man of unwavering faith whose life reflected his love for God and family. Through prayer, humility, and quiet strength, he lived his faith each day, sharing kindness, patience, and compassion with all who knew him.

Although our hearts are heavy, we take comfort in knowing he is now home with the Lord he served so faithfully. His love, values, and memory will live on through us all.

We ask that you keep our family in your thoughts and prayers at this time. Thank you for your ongoing love and support.

Alatina will be at the Flaxmere Methodist church, 5 Swansea Road Flaxmere Hastings on Tuesday the 31st of March.

We invite family and friends to join us in honouring his life and legacy at his funeral service.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Wiremu Miki Kani, dearly known to many as Pop Kani.

Cherished son of the late Bob and Heneriata Kani. Loved father of Riana and Robert Kani. Treasured brother of Marama, Aera, Leah, Connie, and the late Rona and Robert Kani.

Pop will lie at Rongomaraeroa Marae, Porangahau and will arrive today (Sunday 29th March).

Pō Poroporoāki: 7pm Monday 30th March
Rā Nehu (Funeral Service): 11 am Tuesday 31 March

Following the service, Pop will be taken to Kaiwhitikitiki Urupā for his final resting place.

It is with heartfelt sadness, that our Whānau/Aiga announce the passing of our Pāpā Vaea Tafa'i Snr Ioasa.

Born 77 years ago in Fagafau, raised Taga, Savai'i & Letogo, Upolu- migrating to NZ some 50+ years ago.

OG Whakatū, Tomoana and Takapau Freezing Worker.
Lived the majority of his life in Hastings.
Passing suddenly on Friday 27 February 2026, at his retirement village in Papatoetoe, Mānukau.

He has now returned home to Tim Hutchins Funerals in Hastings and will be taken to Houngarea Marae, Old Main Rd, Pakipaki. Hastings at 11am on Monday 2nd March 2025.

Passed away peacefully on the 21st of January 2026, aged 67.

Loved father and father inlaw of Ani, Ahitana & Fame, George, Santana & Kasey. Cherished papa to all his mokos. Treasured son, brother, uncle and friend to many.

Ashton lived a hard life but gave the best of himself to his family. He will be remembered for his strength, sacrifice, and love for his whānau.

A tangihanga will be held at Rongomaraero Marae in Porongahau, beginning on Saturday the 24th of January at 11am.
The service to celebrate Ashtons life will held on 24.01.2026.

Ashton is currently laying at home at 21 Birkenhead Crescent in Flaxmere.
Ashton will leave his whare at 3pm today to leave to Rongomaraero Marae in Porongahau.
